  • Has my high blood pressure lasted long enough to give me ED?

So here's the deal, I started having high blood pressure at 20 and now im 23 with ED. I asked my doctor and he said it was too early for the HBP to be responsible for any sort of vascular damage. Do you think this is true? He thinks the ED is psychological but I simply can't accept this. I don't even get morning erections, AT ALL.

I got an echo stress test because I read about how ED can signal a coming heart attack or coronary artery disease, I passed so hoping that isn't an issue. It just seems like my erections are really weak and floppy, sometimes if I masturbate in the shower watching porn I can manage a strong erection but only if I am laying on my back, and if I stop either watching the P or M then it immediately becomes flaccid again.

Just want some opinions, only other thing was ive had blood and urine tests that showed high cortisol, now it seems to be normal so not sure I can even consider it as being a cause+effect.

Listen to you Doc, Dale! He/she has the actual BP numbers, your medical history and a picture of your overall health. If the Doc says your ED is not organic, it most likely is not. Honestly, in younger men anxiety of many different kinds is the #1 cause of ED. Ask the Doc for a referral forr help with the ED and stop worrying so much. Once you learn to let go and relax, your boners will come back with a vengeance.

How high are your numbers? I am talking an average morning, afternoon, or night reading.
In the forward progress of society and feminism, masculinity (in my opinion) has failed to adapt. This has resulted in the figurative emasculation of many men. PE is not just about gaining size, it is also about gaining confidence, but most importantly embracing and learning healthy masculinity.

I wouldn't worry too much about this if I were you as it will just add to your anxiety.

For the record, I've had ED for over 22 years and still haven't croaked I can assure you you're in no imminent danger

Hows your sex drive? Also do you suffer from depression?

If you're not already, i would start eating healthy and exercising (some cardio and resistance). It doesnt have to be extreme, but enough if you know what i mean. This helped me not only physically, but probably even more so psychologically. Better blood flow and a healthier you=better erections. Natural release of endorphins=release from stress and anxiety which will also lead to better erections. Just think, it can only help.

How's your weight? That changes a lot of things, often the Pelvic Floor will weaken with weight gain or inactivity. Try more kegels in your routine. If your doc says it's all in the mind, ask him/her for some Viagra samples, just to give you a kick-start.

                      Most importantly, RELAX!

Kind of goes with what i said, getting healthy plays a bigger role than you think. Kegels are a must but i dont know for sure about viagra. That would be a last resort if it were me.

So jist to reply to the recent answers. Do you think this is reversible? And do you think its due to hbp/clogged arteries or just anxiety as doctor said? Even with no morning erections can it be anxiety?

Dont masturbate for a week or two, show some discipline and quit watching porn all together as well. See where that gets you and let us know.
