  • Can Zoloft-induced Erectile Disfunction be fixed with PE?

    Hello everyone,

The quality and frequency of my erections have gone down alot in the past year due to the zoloft I've been taking.

Right now, I don't get morning wood, I don't get erections unless I watch porn and stimulate myself manually, and the erections I do get are probably about 60%.

As a remedy, I've decided to start out with the progressive routine and I'm doing my entire workout in the shower. My only goal for now is to improve erection quality because at the moment, my erections aren't hard nor are they dependable enough for me to be an avid pe'er (even though I know I can jelq at 30%).

I also am doing the following:

    1) kegaling every workout day, starting out with 60 reps that are one second each, increasing this number by 25 each week

    2) stretching with my fastsize extender for 18 hours a week, pointed at a 12 o'clock angle

    3) and I'm going to switch from zoloft to wellbutrin because supposedly this will have a much lower possibility of effecting my erections.

(Question): Should I add anything to the above or is what I have good?

Tone: Welcome to the Gym! You're on the right track. Stick with it and you'll get there

A few other things that might help:
    • Try taking some supplements that help with penis health. L-Arginine, a Multi-Vitamin, Green Tea Capsules, Yohimbe, Horny Goat Weed, and several others have helped many men. GNC has a good daily virlity pack for men that has several of these key ingredients. Also, a good thread to check out is here: https://www.pegym.com/forums/beginne...formation.html
    • Live a healthy lifestyle. Diet and exercise don't only help you lose the gut, they're also key to having a strong, hard penis.

    Hope this helps,

Thank you once again, remek. It's only been about 2 weeks since I started my jelq, kegel, and extender routine and I'm already able to achieve 100% erections again, and have had morning wood twice ever since. And I'm still on the zoloft.

Great advice from Remek, Toneshark. Switching from coffee to green tea has helped me a lot. Wellbutrin made me edgy, but you'll probably lose some weight on it. The kegels and jelqing brought my woodies back to eleven o'clock. Good luck, pal.

The question is do you really need to be on zoloft? Also if you decide to stop tell your doctor so he/she can help you taper dowen the dosages safely.

Also a good way to counteract SSRI's induced Ed is to take ginkgo biloba. With a starting dose of 240mg per day.

Thank you for your additions, kingpole and rodm. Unfortunately, an antidepressant is still necessary but I'm looking forward to being off of them completely in time.

As for the trazodone, SSRIs are the only medication I've ever been on.

I still plan on switching to wellbutrin though, even though PE has already shown me some very positive results!

To the best of my knowledge, Zoloft reduces sex drive, not really the circulation. If that's true, then you might just not be stimulated enough.
