  • Have ED, where to start?

I have been lurking for a couple days and have several questions.

about me 62 y/o the past year having problems getting or maintaining an erection. I have gained weight due to being laid off and not much physical activity. I have just bought a treadmill and started walking 2 miles a day. So started to exercise and eating more fruit and vegetables with much smaller portions at meal time.

So my questions where should I start with helping reduce my ed.

i just got a prescription for. Cialis, but insurance will not cover it. So ordered up the herbs for 5G.

i use to read porn rather then watch, but stopped .

    what else should I do?

I had temporary ED because of an injury that lasted about 2 weeks, I noticed that anxiety played a big part in me not being able to get an erection, so whatever you do, try not to panic or be anxious, because that can cause your blood vessels to constrict and limit the bloodflow to your penis.

As for the porn you're doing a good thing by cutting that out. The exercise you're doing will also aid in helping you get your erections back by improving overall health so carry on doing that, also try to make your diet healthier and drink plenty of water if you aren't already. You might benefit from applying heat to your penis when flaccid for 10 minutes a time a few times a day to help promote blood flow, not too hot and avoid from putting heat on your testicles.

Other than the things I've mentioned I can't see how anything else would help. Maybe someone else on the forums will give you a better response, either way I hope things work out for you and hopefully soon your wood will be back!

      Hey exrydr!

      Welcome to the Gym.

Sometimes basic PE routines such as jelqing can help with ED. In this regard https://www.pegym.com/forums/beginne...cess-here.html.

You should try one of the beginner routines for a week or so to see if there is any improvement.Loosing weight, exercise, and a healthy diet are the best ways to get started. You should ask your doc for free samples of Cialis to see if it works before filling the prescription. Many docs have 3 pack samples to give out for free.Hopefully the 5G will work for you. I found that tongkat ali and l-arginine worked better for me.You should have a doc test for potential causes such as diabetes, thyroid condition, high cholesterol, etc. it is best to find the cause before recommending a solution.

Caution: I recently checked with my urologist.
I had cancer of the prostate (the destroyer of men). Functioned rather well the first few years (after the initial 2 year holy-hell nightmare -- had seed implants, not surgery -- still, no ejac, some ED) ... but over time ED got worse.

Agreed, Cialis may help, but bankrupt the poor.

I also have vascular disease: three operations on my legs, 4 bypasses of the heart, and stents in each iliac artery.
Still can function... variously. I raised the issue that since I am on testosterone gel, why don't I have the morning hard-ons I feel I should have, etc.? He mentioned that a lot of men, who have early signs, or even slight Ed (say in their 50's) had best get their vascular system checked, and their hearts checked... because ED has been found to be
85% symptomatic of "heart problems" brewing.
So get your heart/vascular system checked out. ED may be the early warning signs of a systemic clog-up.
        Then worry about your dick.
At the moment, rely on prayer.
        Which helps.
        Plus Arginine/citrulline, and working out.]
I'm 70, and still get noticed at the gym. But no adonis, for sure.

By the way, what "herbs" were you talking about?
Anything with yohimbe in it is NOT recommended. (Especially not for your heart....)
