Thread: Natural sources of L-Arginine/vasodilators?

    Do pistachios and pumpkin seeds have l-arginine? What other foods are a big source of l-arginine? Are any foods natural vasodilators?

    Arginine content per 100g.

    Pumpkin and squash seed kernels, roasted, without salt [pepitas]: 5418mg

    Sesame seed kernels, dried (decorticated): 3250mg.

    Pistachios nuts, dry roasted, without salt added: 2108mg.



    Cayenne Pepper is a natural vasodialator, and is very healthy.

    Peanuts would contain Arginine.
    Chicken is decent but higher in histidine.
    Mainly is nuts..

    Watermelon contains L-Citrulline but you might have to eat a little bit of the rind.

    Cayenne pepper is one of my favorites.
    And yes, one of the strongest vasodilators imo.
    Just don't go overboard.
