Thread: Edging - Helping but Need Advice

I have been edging for 3 weeks or so, every other day and it really seems to be helping. I have days where I'm a good 95%+ hard and then the next day not so much, but overall I can say it has helped my EQ.
My questions are:
- pros/cons of releasing after edging? I feel a crazy spike in libido when I do not release, and I can live with that, but what is best in terms of EQ?
- Is it generally ok to edge the same day as sex? For example, edging 3-4 hours before sex, is that enough time to recover (I do not release)?
- How soon can I increase the duration of sessions? I can handle 15 mins ok, is it time to move up to 20 mins?
- Anything wrong with edging more often? 5 days a week?
- Is it ok to edge even when my erection comes and goes? Sometimes I will slip between 50-90% during a session, is this ok?
I know these are a lot of questions, but you guys have helped so much, any input is greatly appreciated!

Ok my eq has always been good but I will attempt an answer.
It is normal for eq to vary a bit during edging though 50% seems a bit low some imagination may help.
On volume; edging in isolation is well tolerated however in combination with pe it is easy to overtrain . So total workload is important.
If you do not do pe you can work up over time to very large volumes . If you do then more caution and thought is needed . But certainly more than 20 can be achieved .
If you do not release then edging before sex will increase hornyness . If you do release then time must be left for recovery.
I and most authorities recommend regular ejaculation ,some have a set cycle Minuteman for instance suggests every 3rd session.

Generally the first few minutes the EQ might be lower, but after that I would say the EQ is 70-95% (laying down if I were to stop at any given point and kegel the erection would hover above my stomach, not touching the skin). Does that seem more normal/ok? Like it may not be rock hard, but hard enough for say penetration. I am trying to improve EQ.

But since I am doing only edging (even though a session may include a decent amount of kegels) it is ok to ramp up to 5 days a week, 20+ mins each?

Losing EQ, especially on rest days, is a sign of needed rest. Even without other exercises, it is still a physically taxing exercise on your penis, all by itself.
Moving up in times or frequency would require conditioning and building up, just like any other exercise. Great EQ can be achieved with just a few days a week. Overtraining with edging may actually have the opposite effect.
Give yourself a few rest days, then try just 3 times per week, and see if your EQ and fatigue levels improve.Going an inch and 1/2 deeper than before

When you say "rest days", do you mean from everything, sex and all? Or just PE? I do feel like my penis has been going through a lot (sex 14 times in 17 days and edging every other day). While that may not be a lot for some, it is a substantial increase in activity for me.
I stopped taking Cialis last Tuesday (9 days ago) and was successful, actually having rock hard erections without it all the way through Monday (6 days after stopping), but then... yesterday and Tuesday I had poorer EQ. Really not sure why.
