    Reducing stress and anxiety in everyday life is beneficial all the way around.

    Stopping it at the strongest moment is a bit like damming a river at the waterfall though. You have to start at a different spot, at the calm. Be a little proactive, and find what works to release stress, like exercise, music, or writing. Build on what works well for you, and learn ways to manage the effect outside influences can have on your thinking. Recognize when it happens, and adjust.

    I like meditation and deep breathing exercises myself. It focuses the mind on something else, quiets the busy mind, and helps to calm the nerves. In time, it can be used quickly and effectively.

    Practice makes perfect.

    Oh the stress, the anxiety, oh some tough stuff. You need to do something fun. When was the last time you danced on the hood of your car or nailed someone with a water balloon? When was the last time you had a drink or two and gone out and howled at the moon or sang opera loudly as you walked down the street?

    You see you're a kid but you just seemed to forget that you're a kid. Go out and do something goofy or silly; go out and do something fun. Start a snowball fight or throw spitballs at your friends. Once you figure out how to be young again you just may stop putting pressure on yourself and all will be well. Hey even at my age I have been known to dance on my tailgate. Don't let yourself grow old before your time.

    Nobody is trivializing your problems, but trying to help you get over them and live your life, by easing your stress, your problem will be solved, read more into the words and what is being said.

    You know, the best medicine is a good laugh, and that is not laughing at you, it is laughing at life, living life, those who are happy and less stressed have less problems, or at least, they think less of their problems, have more fun and less stress.

    Well it is actually good for you that this problem in fact is not a serious problem but rather common thing to happen. It is not necessary to go to a sex therapist, nor start a snowball fight, over one failed attempt to have sex.
