  • 24, Doc prescribed Cialis. Afraid of taking it.

Hello everyone. I've been lurking here for 3-4 months and learned a lot.

My case is: I came back with my ex 4 months ago and there realized I have ED. Before it I didn't have any relation for a while. I could get an erection, but only with low EQ and it was very hard to maintain it. I also used to came in not more than 20 seconds. Since we're not together anymore, all I can remember is a gap between my mind and my body, I was really turned on but my penis would not respond.

    So, I'd state that:

    1) was never a heavy porn user, don't watch porn since then and was not difficult to quit
    2) I have erection problems when alone. Can get it but not maintain it. Also no morning wood
    3) tried the 5 G's for a while with Kegels and RK, it helped but didn't change much
    4) work out 3-4 days/week for more than a year
    5) I think I have high stress levels. I do therapy

    - I went to a doctor and he said I have low blood pressure on the pennis, probably being caused my the antidepressants I used to take 2 years ago. He prescribed me Cialis 5mg once a day and Iombina 5mg, Tribulus 200mg, Maca Peruana 200 mg and Cafeina 50mg (twice a day), all to take during 3 months.

I'm taking only the second one, not taking Cialis. I'm afraid of becoming dependent.

Do you guys have any thoughts? Cialis can really help me not needing it in the future? Or would you recommend a different approach to this?

    Thank you very much.

Could be the antidepressants but could be low testosterone.
        I would have that checked.
Ask your doctor for a blood workup.

Try the daily Cialis for two weeks and see what develops. It could help jump start your on going erections. Two weeks shouldn't make you dependent.

no need to fear cialis except for the high price tag.

cialis works good if your problem isn't hormones as mine is.

try it, you can usually get a free sample pack from the doctor.

                Thanks for your replies.

I'll wait for the results of my blood tests. If they confirm my testosterone is ok, I'll try the cialis for two weeks with the condition of keeping the kegels/rk routine.

please post your results so we can compare as well. its really helpful, as some of us have been where you are and the more we can exchange results and ideas, the quicker we can find recovery.

Ok, guys, so here's my feedback after 3 weeks taking the combination of Iombina 5mg, Tribulus 200mg, Maca Peruana 200 mg and Cafeina 50mg twice a day and after 2 weeks of 5mg of cialis daily.

During the week I didn't take cialis there was no significant changes on my erections.

There was a huge on the day after taking the first pill of cialis. Its like things came back to where they were when everything was normal: I can get erections without physical stimulation, some days I have morning wood and I don't have to make big efforts to stay hard.

I actually didn't remember how it was to feel things this way. Before, even though I could get a 7/10 erection, either I'd come in some seconds or I'd totally lose it. Its crazy.

Also, my Testosterone is 516 ng/dl.

Thank you for your replies, I'm here if you have any question.

@Pegasus there's not much difference from what I feel when solo and with someone.

                        what is "cafeina"

Also, cialis has a very direct and quick effect on relaxing the corporal smooth muscles, so it makes sense that it worked well.

Was ex-GF very attractive and you put her on a pedestal? Sometimes this can cause you to knock yourself too much and strangely hard to get hard.

Is there any other females that your unit does NOT have an issue rising to the occasion with?

Many of these ED cases are purely mental. Also sometimes it is a reflection of declining over all health, and loss of esteem...

Green tea helps blood flow and helps erections, also helps to cut down on stress.

If you have a lot of stress in your life it can cause ED.

well that is not accepted as low enough to be the culprit in ED by anyone.

your problem must be something else, have you checked your thyroid?

I drank for a while green tea + ginger + lemon. It was actually helpful.
