  • 28yo, dealing with ED for a while now

    Hello,

I have had ED since about age 21 now. I have ED most of the time. However, some rare times I can get a full, normal erection. Does this rule out a problem with the penis and vascular drainage and supply?

A few years back, an urologist ruled out physical causes by physical examination and ultrasound. I haven't had blood tests done yet.

I don't think I ever get nightly erections, except for a few days ago, when I had been doing Kegel's the preceding day. That day, I was also able to get full erection by masturbation, but the ability seems to have vanished again. I never have spontaneous erections. Getting somewhat tumescent seems to be easier sitting or lying down, as opposed to standing up.

Would you guys have some clues as to where the problem might be?

    Thanks.

Yes I have a clue but you're not going to like it. I would bet it's mental. Right now I'm a bit busy so I'll get back to you on Monday. Unless you got some major physical problem that a doc would notice young guys don't get ed.

It's very simple; you are working yourself up and thinking about it too much. You are also likely overtraining. Take a chill pill.

This guy will have to mend his own success ...but I have a feeling he might be one of our short-stayers..

Mental, do the test, try to like sex when you are very angry or very sad, it won´t feel good , I even have low libido and I am one year older than you but always get night and morning erections.-

                Thanks for the reply.

But how can I know, for example, the cause is not too tight or too loose pelvic muscles?

And if the cause is mental, how can I actually get my mind right again? I used to get rock-hard just by thinking about something or lightly touching it - how can I get that back again?

A good start would be to check in here and post more than every 6 months! If it's important enough to you, you'll at least provide more info and likely get more feedback. Start PE & a progress journal in the Progress Forum and post to it at least weekly. You'll stay motivated and get feedback from others, otherwise, you're wasting your time, IMO. Bored, maybe?

I've been trying various things - including nofap, noporn, kegels and reverse kegels, and breathing exercises with minimal improvement.

Start what kind of PE? Progress forum seems to be for other problems than ED.

Progress forum is for ALL members to post their own experiences with PE, regardless of your goals. This is a men's sexual health forum, so it's about sex-related male health! PE begins with a good conditioning program. It will make your penis healthier and if performed consistently & persistently, you'll likely see some growth (enlargement) both flaccid & erect from it. How can that be bad for you? You need A PELVIC FLOOR BALANCING PROGRAM, KEGELS (k:rk / 60:40 RATIO), & EDGING TO BUILD YOUR STAMINA.

START HERE TAB, top left tab, grey bar, will give you the basics and answer ALL your questions re: PE. Newbies need to READ ALL those threads BEFORE starting any exercise program. You'll either be motivated to get results or you'll give up. My guess is you lack motivation to be consistent in PE, given your posting history...PROVE ME WRONG & IMPROVE YOURSELF!
