Thread: Can't seem to fix ED need advice

So I have been dealing with this for months probably years now and I'm only 26. I finally quit porn and I don't masturbate as frequently as I used to. after I stopped doing this stuff there wasn't much of a difference, actually it feels like I get less erections now after stopping that stuff.
Next I'm beginning to change my diet and exercise twice a week. I drank green tea the other night and got a boner that wouldn't go down in the middle of the night. My girlfriend finally helped me and I was able to go to sleep. I was excited and felt like I green tea was the magic cure so I drank it again the next day, but the next morning I didn't have the awesome wood! Is that normal? Same thing happened when I used to take horny goat weed it would work the first day o would take it and then it was like my body adapted to it. What should I do?

I can always get it up for my girlfriend but it just NEVER feels 100% hard

I think you are partially in your head. When you took the green tea, you had a relaxful deep sleep, which resulted in great morning wood. The next day, you tried to duplicate, but you were aware of your experiment and therefore trying to duplicate - results, not as satisfactory. You need to clear you head of these issues. An occasional misfire in the wood department is fairly normal, its when you obsess over it that it becomes problematic. I had terrible ED that used to make me really mad. It was when I learned to relax and calm down that the symptoms subsided. Stop worrying, and start enjoying. Work on deep breathing to control your emotions and have fun. A little adrenaline in my system kills my wood, so I have to "decompress" if I have any emotions around my performance.

I get relaxing deep sleep every night but this was unusually hard and long lasting wood, I will keep eating healthy and exercising,hopefully it will change my eq so I can begin a routine to help with size

Not really, I usually will get 1 to 2 bones a day and they are 60% maybe 70% if I'm lucky. After drinking that tea the other night the erection I got was like 90% so it really felt awesome. I did notice I had some involuntary twitching and spasms though when it was that hard which means my pelvic floor is out of whack. So I will be focusing on reverse Kegels when I edge.

Have you tried going awhile without any self-stimulation? Allowing the libido a boost can have some beneficial effects.

I agree with ZZman, I think your symptoms are part of this process of recovery from porn and masturbation. It doesn't heal in a week or a month. It can take along time to desensitize your brain and body. Unfortunately we are poisoned today with so much sexual stuff all over the place. Dont over think it, just let it be and slowly your body will readjust and adapt to the normal reality.
