Heading back to the doctors tomorrow, really could use some advice. Have tried Losartan and now Losartan/HCTZ for high blood pressure. The HCTZ seems to really be exasperating my ED, to the point even Cialis won't help. To make matters worse, the high BP hasn't even come down.
Does anyone know/recommend a blood pressure medication that won't cause ED ( or perhaps one that may even help erections)?

It would be best if you discussed this with your Dr. He would have the best idea of what medications will help with it. He's obviously going to change your meds if it isn't working. He will also consider a med that doesn't have ED side effects if you let him know. I take Lisinopril and Atenolol myself. Neither of those have a sexual dysfunction side effect.
To totally satisfy a woman sexually is not about having a large penis, it's about being a good lover.

I completely understand talking to him. But he is generally open to my thoughts, for example I asked that we start with Losartan because I'd heard it can help ED and he was totally cool with it.
Out of the dozens of BP meds there's gotta be something.

I take amlodopine besylate for my blood pressure. I also run a lot, lift, and avoid porn so ED hasn't been much of an issue lately

Amlodopine Besylate (Norvasc), and Losartan Potassium (Cozaar) is what I take now and I have been through several others that had nasty side effects such as pounding heart beats (Exforge) and major shortness of breath (Bystolic). It usually is the beta blockers that give you erection problems. Interestingly enough, my BP is always high at the doctors office which has her worried, but I check every time I go to the pharmacy and it is fine. I have got to taking pictures of the readings on the machine at the pharmacy. My brother is cardiologist and he calls it "white coat hypertension" when your pressure is elevated at the office but not elsewhere.
