Without further ado, the question of the day for August 1, 2016! -

What was the first concert you ever attended?

Bob Dylan at Forest Hills - 1965. The first concert in which he used an electric guitar (second half of performance) and was greeted with a round of boos.

I can't even remember which one would have been the first one. The first one that I can remember was Iron Maiden, I think it was the 1983 World Piece tour.

Foreigner concert with my dad that happened less than 5 years ago. 38 Special was there as well if I am not mistaken. Overall was a great concert.

I don't remember the name of the guy, but the only concert(s) I've been to were for Zydeco music. Of course I was dragged to them, although the music wasn't terrible I would much rather have not gone to them.

I've never been to a concert of my own volition though. I'm not really a fan of the way the music sounds when it's live, plus all the costs and annoyances of going to one.

Iron Maiden being supported by Marilyn Manson, who was actually surprisingly good live. And Maiden were fantastic, really set the bar high first time round.
