By the way, I never recall riots in the streets in 2008 and 2012 when Obama won the election. Why didn't republicans and conservatives take to the streets, riot and loot businesses? Curious...

This is really the only riot and protest based on something like this for a president. The only other presidents that had protests were the recent Bush, because of the Florida debacle, and Abraham Lincoln, but that was from the Confederacy and weirdness with the Union.

It isn't like there has been protests and riots every single presidential election.

I think this time it is worse because so many, especially the experts, thought that HRC had it in the bag. Losing is bad enough but snatching defeat from the very jaws of victory is a very bitter experience.

1 day, you get to protest, second day if it's violent you should be arrested and the third night they should set dogs, gas and plastic bullets on them, arrest them and send any illegal they find rioting on a South bound bus.

I'm all for protesting ... no matter how idiotic the cause ... as long as it isn't disrupting the peace like blocking traffic, making it difficult for ambulances to get through ... putting people's lives in danger. If protests get violent, then yes ... any means necessary should be taken to stop that garbage.
