My absolute favorite memory was looking at all the presents under the Christmas tree, wondering what could possibly be in those beautifully decorated boxes (Thanks mom), there was one box taller than the rest.
That turned out to be my first guitar, and even though I didn't start playing right at that point, I feel if that hadn't happened I would have never picked up ukulele and guitar found music as an emotional outlet. I can't imagine life without music at this point.09-03-2016: BPEL: 6.5 EG: 5.0

What's your favorite holiday memory from when you were a child?
My favorite holiday was when I was 4. My family went to my grandparents house, in a small town. This was back in like 93-4, so weather channel app wasnt out yet haha. On the way there it was starting to slow a little and we were all excited for a white Christmas. Got to my grandparents house and started dinner, and went to bed. Next morning I woke up and saw it was still snowing but I didnt care because presents! It ended up snowing for like 24hrs and the snow was so above the hood of the car. We ended up spending couple of days in that small retro town in Maine2011 | BPEL: 6.2, EG: 5.1 |

I have a bad memory going back that far but one thing I remember from my earlier Christmases years was the sheer amount of gifts my parents would buy for my brother and I when we were young. Waking up and being so excited to see a large pile of gifts is one of the best feelings I can remember. I'm sure I've had good stories but nothing is popping to me at the moment I'm the kind of person that needs a small reminder to remember a memory.

My favorite childhood memory from Christmas was a total surprise. My sisters and I would all pile in one room the night before Christmas and have a sleep over listening to Christmas music until we fell asleep. We all wanted to be in the same room so that we could all come out at the same time to be surprised to see what Santa had brought us. This one year we all busted out of the door together to be surprised by this chocolates cover, highly enthusiastic, rambunctious little dachshund. As we came running towards her she greeted us halfway. She ended being the best dog in the world. She chased tennis balls really any ball that bounce non-stop. She would even roll it herself so she could chase after it. She end up passing away a few years ago. She was the best dog ever. She will be missed. Her name was Ginger by the way. I don't think another dog could replace her
