It's kinda funny, how different males are from females re: masturbation. Why is it OK/ normal for guys to masturbate in the presence of others (boy "CIRCLE JERKS", allowing your partner to assist or masturbate you during sex. BJ's, "breaks" in sexual activity, etc.), but females are so "private" when masturbating? I've had many more partners who were "too embarrassed" to masturbate in front of me than those willing to, even older more experienced females.

Purely from a physiological aspect, it's totally unfair to guys IMO, and females are doing themselves a disservice, too! How's a guy going to learn a partner's particular turn-on's if we're not "shown" what THEY enjoy MOST? Let's face it, guy's stuff is "exposed" and easier to figure out for them;...females, not so much... 'cause even if you know the general anatomy of a female, the degree of stimulation, frequency, depth, and sensitivity varies GREATLY from one to another...much more so than "guy parts", IMO. !

My wife doesn't know that I masturbate/edge. She won't touch herself because she has that wrong view that her vagina is dirty. Le sigh.

Mine has a similar view, and that the act itself is wrong. She acknowledges it arises from religion and it's silly, but she was indoctrinated from an early age and it seems programmed into her unconscious or something.

Ujjayi - need to change that perception she has of the "garden of paradise". It will enhance your private activities as a result. Let her know it is the source of pleasure for both of you, and she holds great powers because of it.

Before I developed ED, I only masturbated about once or twice a month so my wife probably wasn't aware of it. Since I developed ED about15 years ago, I haven't masturbated at all. My wife is also a fairly private and modest person and has little interest in "prying" into the private affairs of others.

Some of my friends (all white British and not conservative) think that way too. I hope it's just a 'front' they put on and are different with their husbands in private.

I heard stuff like it's disgusting and why would you etc. They see one night stands perfectly fine but self touching a disgrace!!
