Apparently, I fell asleep and woke up in another dimension.
Is everyone's wish for chocolate truffles that they don't like? Or, Maybe the wish is to eat the chocolate truffles off TGD's body?
Somehow I missed the transition.

I think you should share the lucid dreams that came to you. Especially the one where I get some chocolate truffles.

I'm going to have to echo Wishful's lottery win wish. Money doesn't solve all problems but it sure can alleviate a lot of worries. I've got some of my own right now would be greatly reduced by not having to worry about potentially living out of my car with my cats. So, yeah, lottery win would be fantastic.
(And no, realistically I don't think it'll come to having to live out of my car. That's just what goes through my head when I let fear take the reigns)
First of all, I know it probably doesn't help very much but MANY college and university students go through this kind of burnout. I mention that not to make light of it, but to let you know that you are not alone in what you're experiencing.
Secondly, my advice is to try and make some time in your day - even if it's only 10 or 15 minutes here and there - that are just FOR YOU. Not online, not listening to music, not thinking or studying or sleeping, just you. Do some yoga - if you don't know any yoga moves then there's plenty of instructional stuff on YouTube. I mean traditional hatha style yoga, not the DDP/YRG stuff. Don't get me wrong I love the DDP/YRG stuff but it's not going to accomplish the same goals. You want something that's going to be calming and provide gentle but deep stretching. Try and keep your mind clear during it, focus on the move, on your body, on your breath. It will help to alleviate tension - first by making you calmer and more centered, and secondly by stretching muscles and working the tension out of them. The more you do it, the more practiced you get at it, the more you'll be able to just use the breathing to keep yourself calm and centered when tension and anxiety start to mount during the day.
It'll also help you sleep better.
Also, and frankly I'd recommend this for anyone, there's a wrestler on Facebook that's just phenomenal. He's been doing this "365 Best Days Ever" thing since the beginning of the year, and it's really something to read, and notice how he can take some of the worst things (like his cat dying) and find something positive in it to focus on. His name is Jason Kincaid - look him up.

I really appreciate the encouragement everyone. I'm still feeling burnt out and depressed at the moment, I need to get back on track with my meds and sleep schedule... I have a hard time getting enough sleep. But the good news is I am pretty sure I can get into my second choice college, it's a women's university, based on merits and not entirely on grades grades. Plus, I've got veteran status and two diversity cards I can play, including just being a male down for a woman's college. I've got a 2.7ish GPA and 2.5 something cumulative GPA, both will go up after the summer and next semester. l the university requires is a 2.0 out of 4.0 and $50, no essay or anything else.

I'm just burnout on the prerequisite courses. I'm actually looking forward to taking biology and chemistry over the summer (at 4X the speed of normal classes), and spending the next 12 weeks not having to deal with anything but class.Sex is the great leveler, taste the great divider. - Pauline Kael

Have you ever considered asking your significant other to join the forums? Only to have her agree and expose your panty fetish?
Just wondering.......Been there done that.
