Taken the Cape May/Lewes Ferry many time on trips to Atlantic city. It is not the fastest route but the scenic one with the ferry trip and the Garden State Parkway. 1970 Pontiac GTO.
It wasn't a beater(although id did beat on it quite a bit) and not a show car. Somewhere in between.

1967 Buick Special with a 225 v-6. It was my mom's car and motor blew. I rebuilt it by following along with a book. Reseated the valves by hand. Drove it for a year and then when I was 17 I left home. Mom kept the car for my younger siblings. I was not happy. Then got a 74 VW Dasher for $100. Sucked but worked.
