Trump has has some good ideas on how to make America great again, but he will not be successful unless he starts to deal positively with the press. In fact, the Constitution provides the press with protection against tyranny.

He has decided to not fight the court rulings against his travel restrictions. However, he intends to issue a new executive order this week which he claims will side step the issues the other courts objected to. Let's see what happens. Hopefully, he now realizes the courts are a legitimate part of the checks and balances as established in the Constitution.

I think he understands that his executive orders carry wieghts until over filled by court or Congress. So while it will get overturned still it makes him look like a promise keeper until some demon overturns him. Shell game.

No the checks and balances are between the three branches. Legislative, judicial and executive. The press's role is to inform us, without fear, so we can make better decisions on who is going to be in those branches. The press is supposed to be totally neutral. Unfortunately they rarely are anymore.

You need to stop saying this, because of the implication is false. It is really an embarrassing statement.

That stat is only the cases that gets reviewed by the Supreme court, and it is cases that the court believes has a good chance of being overturned if it wasn't the supreme court would not review it. It is only .01% of all the cases the 9th circuit court has ruled.
