Senitor Franken asked Sessions if he was aware of any of Trumps surrogates having communication with the Ressians regarding the election campaign.

Sessions: "Senator Franken, I'm not aware of any of those activities. I have been called a surrogate at a time or two in that campaign and I didn't have — did not have communications with the Russians, and I'm unable to comment on it."

Sessions claims he never discussed election campaign issues with the Russians. Apparently, he was only wearing his Arms Services Committee hat when he met the Ambassador and not his Trump campaign hat.

Not very fourthcoming, but could be construed as "technically" truthful if viewed in a very narrow constriction.
Not an admirable trait for a National Security Chief.

Trump now wants any investigation into the Russian interference into the election process to also include an investigation into the wire tapping of Trump Tower.

If this means Trump will get behind an investigation, this will be a positive move which should clear the air on both sides, assuming everyone is telling the truth Or, reveal who is lying.

i feel a thorough investigation with all parties complying, should get the country moving in the right direction. Any resistance will generate continued animosity and bog things down.
