England was a safe place? I guess the V2 rockets were just fireworks? I'm sure the Brits would have lasted long without supplies and more men. Hell they did a damn fine job against Hitler in Europe and Africa didn't they?

But Our guys did just as good so we can both slap our backs.

So was the UK safe for your troops? well as they was stationed well away from city's from Scotland all the way down to Truro in Cornwall the only real loss of life was when doing night time landing craft manoeuvre's, at Slapton sands when they run into German gunboats, there was a big loss of American life's, in the UK I have a book on it, unfortunately its was just an accident of war, if I'm right they thought it was dummy shells being fired at them at first till the shit hit the fan and craft being sunk, German boats come over looking for shipping and would wait with there engines switch off in the dark.

Starting in September 1944, over 3,000 V-2s were launched by the German Wehrmacht against Allied targets during the war, first London and later Antwerp and Liège

Attacks from Germain V2s resulted in the deaths of an estimated 9,000 civilians and military personnel.

Well records show only 1.500 was used but killed only 7000 you should not trust facebook for info, try going to the real sauce, doddle bugs or V1s they shot a load at London but lots got shot down and spitfires shot a lot down as well and tipped a lot over, by some very brave pilots.
