I've had my side win for the last 12 years. And I have a different perspective on these things than most people. I voted for Obama, and remember the silly nonsense I saw Republicans lob at him. He's Hitler. He's the antichrist. He's a puppet for foreign governments. Now here comes Trump and what do I see? The exact same fucking things. Not even in new wrapping paper, but the same damn wrapping paper, stitched together with duct tape.

There was a time when I thought the Left was more reality based then the Right. Then Trump happened, and I got to see that both sides have the exact same delusion occur when their candidate loses.

Your line of thinking is basically since the right was wrong about Obama, and the left is making similar accusations about Trump then they must also be wrong. This thought process is wrong. The issue with this line of thinking, is that you are brushing both situation with the same stroke. Not considering each situation for its own and their merits.

Regardless who you voted for you should never stop thinking independently.

First the Hitler and antichrist is kinda BS whenever it is brought on. But Trump relation with Russia government is no nonsense, or at the very least to be disregarded so quickly. First numerous members of Trump campaign had contact with the Russian ambassador. And what is worse they lied about it, which is very concerning. Secondly Trump is under FBI investigation, which changes the concern level drastically.
