I guess not everybody thought the Trump plan was terrific.

The art of the deal... lol
This was their best chance it won't get easier, technically right after an election it is the peak moment to pass tough legislations.

We have seen enough of this man to realise he is indeed unfit for office. He is clearly a narcissistic psychopath and we had better all hope he does not go off the rails completely.
As I have saif before, you Americans can elect whom you like and then you have to ccl the fallout from bad policies and poor political management. But we in countries other than the US are affected by the POTUS' actions and policies in foreign affairs, defence and intelligence and security. The visits to the White House by foreign leaders, with quite amazing breaches of the fundamental principles of international dip[lomacy, are prompting rethinks around the world.
America will not be great again the way this guy is going.
Pointing an accusing finger at Obama and then being unable to produce the slightest scrap of evidence, then blaming the US' most intimate intelligence partner has to be seen as an absolute disgrace and there are and will continue to be repercussions. You might not read about them, but they sure are happening in many offices around the world.

I went to a campus club meeting that was supposed to be about leadership. Instead of anything useful we got propaganda from a democratic representative, not that there's anything wrong with that, but she was actually pushing for students to join protests against Trump using fear tactics.
What is the end goal for the Democratic party here? To enrage Americans who can't do anything about it because impeachment is an act of Congress?
I don't identify with any party BTW, but I am a veteran who respects the position of the POTUS.Sex is the great leveler, taste the great divider. - Pauline Kael

The end goal is to build the perception that the POTUS is illegitimate, so that when he is removed (one way or another) the country will be okay with it. They are dead wrong about that but they try it anyway, if you remove Trump you will have millions of pissed of Americans.
