Some would argue public awareness is good it keeps the government honest and applies pressure on the investigation, if there is no public knowledge more likely that investigation could be swept under the rug. On the other hand corrupt governments thrive on lack of transparency and no accountability to the media and public.
Government leaks to the media could be healthy too, because it reflects some Americans concerns and they are willing to put themselves on the line to reveal the truth. Micheal Flynn is unethical and a lier it is good he was exposed, without it he would still serve as a National Director.Start(11/14/2016) : 7.25 BPEL , 5.5 MSEG

Some would also argue that spying on Americans and breaking the law in releasing confidential information on citizens is dangerous. There are rules, laws, that say things should not be done but someone decides with his own bias to release what is against the law to do so. That can ruin innocent lives.

Investigations consisting of politicians are not getting us anywhere. We need an indipendent investigation if we want to get to the bottom of the Russian connection and the Trump Tower taping allegation. Let's be patient and wait for the FBI and the NSA to finish their investigations and hope we can get a special prosecutor and indipendent investigation established.

And in OTHER BREAKING NEWS....
Has everyone heard about the 3 teens who burglarized a home in OK @ 12:30 AM yesterday and were killed by the homeowner's son with an AR-15 rifle? It's simply INFURIATING how the media ignores basic law (SEE CASTLE DOCTRINE) that applies universally, then applies "leftist" BS to try and incriminate the shooter, with a headline of "The REVERSAL of the "STAND YOUR GROUND law" discussion in that state! They broke into a home wearing black hoodies & masks @ 12:30 AM, were shot dead by the homeowner's son. END OF STORY!
Homeowner's son should be given FREE target practice & a job as an instructor @ a local range, IMO; not "used" to further the leftist media, limp-wrist thinking that continues to erode basic human rights in the US!Last edited by jockinthebox; 03-29-2017 at 07:36 PM.

In Oaklahoma, it is a crime to harm someone breaking into your home and you will probably be arrested and charged. However, at the trial, you can use the Hold your Ground or Defend your Castle defenses.

Is this for real? Thank God I don't live there. The shooter should be honored by the local law enforcement and given an award for bravery.
I didn't realize there were any states where it is against the law to use deadly force to protect your home when someone enters unlawfully. If my home state ever passes some BS law (it won't) against being able to protect my home, possessions, family and self I guess I will look for a job in Texas.
Oh well, I guess all the protestors will have a new cause to rally around-the poor dead victims of the shooting.Aug 2012: BPEL: 6.25", BPSFL: 6.75", MEG: 5.25"

The trial determines whether the individual was indeed in fear for his life and/or gave proper warning that he was about to deliver lethal force.
Its the law. If you want to dismiss the law, then we may as well accept vigilantism.Valued Member of 11+ years at the PEGym12/'09 (start) NBP EL - 4.5, EG - 4.4

Why bother with the law? That's why we have illegal immigration and sanctuary cities. Laws just seem to get in the way.
