    It'll make you sound confident.
    It'll make you feel more at ease.

    You ever go somewhere public and start to go "what do I do, where do I go, what do I say"? You feel out of sorts, uncomfortable, you might fidget, go here go there, etc. When you slow everything down. You have so much more time. More time to think as you speak. More time it takes to walk around, allowing you to really notice and enjoy everything around you, instead of scurrying in a haze.

    Think of being in a pool.

    As you practice this, you'll notice the people around you start to pick up your "calm, cool, relaxed" energy.

    Imagine two people having a conversation who both talk very fast. They get worked up and up, to where usually their more concerned about what they have to say next, than listening. Nothing really gets absorbed in the conversation.

    Now imagine one person who talks very fast, and another very slow, as if they are in no rush at all to say their piece. The fast talker, will begin to slow more and more.

    Think of an elderly person you're maybe helping. They move very slow, talk slower, can only hear so quickly. What do you do? Do you blab their ear off and walk 100ft ahead? No, you'd slow down to their level.

    I used to have a friend who just talked really really slow. It was super noticable and different. But the more we hung out, the more I noticed myself come down to his level. I'd talk slower. But more importantly, I noticed how I'd FEEL so much more relaxed, at ease, unrushed. It also always made him seem like he was listening, non-judgemental, indifferent.

    So slow everything down. Let this be your focus. Not what to say, or do, or how do I look, or any anxious thinking, you're only thought is SLOWWWWW. And watch your anxiety disippate as you're worries fade.

    Try it out for awhile and get back to me. Cheers.
    See when I was younger I had a stammer/stuttering, and was taught to speak slowly, and this along with some very simple exercises that make you think how to do them.

    Which if you think about all this its was meditation, as you need a clear mind to do them, but as I got older the best meditation I had was fishing, where you sit and concentrate on the tip of a float, which is a form of meditation, 4 or 5 hours of that and you go home very tired, all from concentration so yes its very relaxing , and great for clearing away any troubles in the mind, your find a lot of freshwater fishermen do go home very tired and relaxed, even better when you win a match.

    I've heard that semen retention and quitting porn improves social anxiety, I didn't know whether this was for average guys who just watch porn when they need it or if it was for guys that are watching it all day and skipping going out with friends to watch it.

    A big thing for me is TV series, I LOVE THEM. I literally have a spreadsheet with about 100 shows on (some still playing and others ended years ago) so I don't forget which episode I've seen. I think TV unfortunately has to be something I quit soon.

    I also do find I move quite fast so probably would seem strange going slow

    This is good advice!

    When I was very young, it was thought I had a speech impediment due to constant stuttering. The issue would get very bad when I was asked to read in class. A speech therapist explained- in my case- the words popped into my head faster than my mouth could form the words with my mouth. By thinking about each word before they escaped my lips and taking care to enunciate each one under control, the stutter practically disappeared!

    That's such a great idea and different angle.
    In the end if you want to have different results you need to do different.

    It might not work in the biggest anxiety situations from the start(they overwhelm) but if you introduce stuff like this in other situations it will carry over.

    I've always been a speedy in my case. Everyone says I'm a power walker lol Speech definitely needs to slowed during presentations, surprised I don't get steam coming out my mouth.

    Ya. I've tried it all but found that i work better when i dont try control growth. Surrendering and allow it to come naturally because you know whats right already. Self love can then come in nicely

    My sister was very anxious after moving to another country. She was worried about everything, especially about the new school. She thought only of the bad: that she looked bad, strangely joked that her classmates wouldn`t like her. She also had no friends for a long time. So we decided to fight it. On one site ,<url removed> my parents found many effective ways to overcome anxiety. They really helped my sister, but not so much that she didn't worry about school. So my parents bought medicines on this site that reduce anxiety. Now my sister is fine, and she doesn`t worry about the little things
