Just wanted to see what you guys were currently listening (not at this exact moment, but bands you are favoring at this point in time)
I'm hitting a lot on post-rock (Mono, This Will Destroy You, A Silver Mount Zion, God Speed You! Black Emporer)
I recently discovered a band called: Brother. They have really soulful, scottish, rock. I say scottish because of the addition of bagpipes.
A little bit of Hardcore: Norma Jean, Gaza, Converge, and The Acacia Strain.
And I can't forget my Dubstep homies: 16 bit, Caspa, Reso, and Datsik.

I was on a rap spree for like the last 2 years, and more recently I've been getting into House and Techno.. And just now I'm getting back into the rock scene with my old time favorites Alexisonfire, Atreyu, Underoath, Senses Fail, Hollywood Undead, and Saosin.
It's not just Penile Enhancement, it's a way of life.

Oh yes. I'm getting into more thrash/hardcore punk. I'm listening to a band called Verse and I'm sure you've heard of Bane. Lets not forget Trash Talk either.
But while we're on the subject you should check out GSYBE's side project "Set Fire to Flames" even more experimental drawn out melodies.

What I've been listening to for a while is, what sounds to me like, indie dance music > of montreal, the rapture, muscles, hercules and love affair, justice. I used to be really into rock and metal, like slipknot, deftones, pantera. But, what I'm listening to now makes me feel good, bro.

This thread is so old but I brought out the defibrillators.
You should check out Sufjan Stevens, they're right up your ally. Also Fleet Foxes is certainly delicious.
I'm getting really into The Books too. Their coming here in september I believe and they are just awesome. Very chill music with a classical feel (probably because of the cellist)
