Why is this- Bathing suit ...

I notice I look better (from the front) w/ a bathing suit when I wear tighter underwear or even compression shorts (lycra) underneath. Seems to go against conventional wisdom or thinking, but yeah. The water has usually made me turtle and it seems the tighter shorts may prevent this and may help it stick out some. Although maybe it's a birds-eye thing.

best I can figure is that it's the body heat and the "holding power" that the underwear provides your package.

We all have different perceptions in this regard, but my thinking is that the longer you practice p.e., the less you will turtle even in colder water.
