Things people like tend be fairly accurate representations of what they aspire to be, or what they value. If you post a bunch of thug quotes under a thread for favorite quotes, people will tend to jump to conclusions. This isn't always fair or accurate, but unfortunately it's a necessary part of social interaction. It can help to be mindful of how what you say may appear to others, particularly with people outside your social circle.

To the other respondents, you kind of jumped to a bit of an extreme, don't you think? That's a long way to jump on a thread that's not meant to be taken seriously.

If you would care to go back and read some of the quotes in this thread, you'll find that 98% of them are inspiring. I consider what littletoobig posted as off topic.

I agree, however, I thought the comments against littletoobig were a little too personal, particularly the jail comment from gerg. The only thing I am trying to get across here is that I would like people to take care with what they post and how they respond to others.

If you want love, give love.

If you want respect, give respect.
You get in return, what you give.
