Kegel for back problems...

I just heard kegels can be done to help with lower back problems.
What do you guys think? (And gals)

I learned a good back stretch using Kegals.
First lye on your back with your knees up like you would perform a sit-up.
Then blow alll the air you have in your lungs and then flex Kegal style.
You should feel a nice stretch in your lower back and tail bone.
