Yes i have, i saw my grandma take her last breath in February due to bowel cancer. Her hand was in mine but i told my grandma i loved her everyday we met. If i was to ever distance myself from my family through ill feelings the last thing i would want to happen is someone getting cancer just to bring us back together. That is ridiculous, families that fall out, stay fell out due to stubbornness and reluctance to admit fault or failure. If one person was man enough to admit there problems or at least want to reconcile the differences they can at any one given moment without cancer being a part of the reconciliation. I feel for you for your loss but that is one persons own situation, not a cause to think cancer has done good bringing you back together
Happy with what I've got but who doesn't want more???

No, humans created the concept of a god because they didn't have a clear concept of their origins. It's part of human nature to seek and explore and understand and when we don't have an understanding... we make stuff up that tries to explain it. Native American/Aboriginal culture is FULL of stories that were constructed to explain things in terms that they could understand at the time - why the sun and moon rise, why people are different, how people came to exist. Every culture did the same thing, they just put it into their own frame of reference.
And then at various points one group or another would that their explanation was better or truer than the others and would go out and try to wipe out the people that didn't agree with them so that their point of view would become dominant and everyone would think like them.
(By the way, did you know that in the last census nearly 24% of Canadians declared no religious affiliation?)

Let's remember to be respectful of everyone's opinions, please.
Whether you believe in a higher power or not, the one thing we believe in here at PEGym, is that this should be a place where we can discuss our thoughts/ideas/beliefs openly, without fear of ridicule.
Thanks, everyone!!
