I'm white, come from Estonia , do not support any particular politic party , but vote for prime ministers and presidents when there are elections.

As far as religion I'm atheist.

You can elaborate in your own reply a bit more since I'm a bit curious.

I am white, come from Italy, I have a critic support for Movimento 5 Stelle, I am agnostic. What else you want to know?

Edit : how this is relevant to the topic? I am curious as well, but for which reasons you are asking these questions.

Well if you would be for example following certain politic parties or if your religion would be islam for example you would be most likely to protect your own people.

    Was just curious.

Multiculturalism is just not possible
This is the hard reality, I would like human nature to be otherwise, it is not, we're aggresive when our "gang" is in dange, and people will get aggresive as dthe refugee situation gets worse. I don't want this, I like our peaceful society, but we're heading to new totalitarian movements. This is not a popular opinion, but as a football trainer said: Molti nemeci, molto onore.

The Australian model has been a grotesque failure. To begin with, Australia never had an immigration problem :

    ...
Canberra’s posturing suggests that the influx of migrants by boat poses a serious national threat. But the number of asylum-seekers arriving this way has been relatively low. According to the U.N.H.C.R., there were 1.2 million asylum-seekers worldwide in 2013. That year, Australia saw its greatest number of asylum-seekers arriving by boat: about 20,000. These are almost always found to be refugees with legitimate fears of persecution.

Australia’s harsh stance is best explained by domestic political expediency.
    ....

Paradoxically, Australia seems to have no problem extending protection to refugees who apply through regular channels. And leaders on both ends of the political spectrum have recently advocated for economic and population growth in northern Australia. With a national population of 23 million in a country roughly the size of Europe, it’s not that Australia can’t support more people: It just doesn’t want those people to be asylum-seekers arriving by boat.
    ....

This attitude may perhaps be understood as a dismal legacy of the “White Australia” immigration policy, in place from the country’s federation in 1901 until its final vestiges were dismantled in the 1970s. Under this doctrine, a range of legislation aimed at keeping out non-Europeans promoted white homogeneity in the name of social and economic security..........

Canberra’s call to “stop the boats” may resonate because it taps into the same well of xenophobia that enabled “White Australia” to persist.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/08/op...n-barrier.html

So, to stop 20,000 asylum seekers from coming, Australia has reopened detention camps in Naruru and Manus Island, has spent millions enforcing the Sea Army, gave $50 millions to Cambodia to take asylum seekers (which has not worked at all) and, although never officially admitted, $70 millions to Indonesia, tried to give money to about any third world country where there isn't a war or religious proescution to take asylum seekers, wtihout any success, has adopted laws that limits freedom of expression and even allow the government to hide to the Australian Government and the press what is happening, has earned the blame of every civilised Country and UNHR, which reports human rights violation and sexual abuse of asylum seekers, even against childrens.

Australia?s treatment of refugees is 'cruel and mean-spirited? - Telegraph

First failure of Australia's $55 million Cambodia refugee plan

    http://www.nytimes.com/2015/09/03/op...-migrants.html

What has been the outcome of that? That this year Australia will take 25,000 refugees : more than it was trying to leave out when this 'first iron politic' against immigration was adopted. Not only that, but has resolved to step in attacking Syria, a move of very doubious utility and higly questionable under International Laws, as explained here:
Is Australia right to bomb Syria?

The Australian plan seemed to have worked in the first year, but thereafter has revealed as a total failure not only the number of boats trying to land in Australia has increased, not diminished, but suffit to say that detaining an an asylum seeker in Nauru or Manus Island costs $225,000, while letting them leaving in the open community would cost $ 35,000, source:
The facts about ?boat people? ? The government & media are lying

and they could also work, so creating wealthness, instead then being beated and sexually abused.

    So thanks but thanks, Australia.
Umm this is such a load of distorted bs it isn't worth reply to.

On refugees, Canada learns its history lesson: Burman

With fear and intolerance rising around the world, Canada shows the way — decades after turning away Jews fleeing Nazis.

Beginning next week, as many as 1,000 Syrian refugees a day will begin arriving in Canada. It is the final stage of an odyssey that, for many of them, has taken years. But it is an odyssey that will emotionally affect this country as much as it will change the lives of those families.

    ....
After years of being an international delinquent, Canada is embarking on an initiative — “a national project,” as the government terms it — that is now leading the way ahead of several major Western powers. That is no small achievement.
    ....
The squalid depths of the American debate are best captured by the statements of Donald Trump, who is still the leading presidential candidate for the Republican party. As recently as Monday, he repeated his entirely bogus claim that after the 9/11 attack.
    ...........

The dramatic arrival of Syrian refugees beginning next week is similar to what happened in Canada in 1979 when the Conservative government welcomed 60,000 Vietnamese “boat people” fleeing Communist rule.

At a cabinet meeting in 1979 before the decision was made, Immigration Minister Ron Atkey told his colleagues about a new book, None is Too Many: Canada and the Jews of Europe 1933-1948, by Irving Abella and Harold Troper. It revealed how Canada closed its doors to Jewish refugees before, during and after the Second World War.

The message in 1979 was that Canada should not repeat that horrific mistake.
On refugees, Canada learns its history lesson: Burman | Toronto Star

I have lived 5 years in Canada, and I have cousin there. I am happy that Canadians have not put their brains in the water close. Canada was built on immigrants, and that has been its strength.

And the fact that crime in the country that has taken in these refugees has increased quite dramatically means little to you? 400 assaults in the city of Cologne in one night and that you're okay with?

He will say probably something like those assaults were scare tactics or something along those lines. Some people have beliefs that go so deep that no matter what you say to them they will just stick to whatever is the picture in their head.
