Bingo again Trex.. This is what we gun owners in Canada have been trying to beat into law makers heads for a very long time.. We can own that Mini-14 and use it in the woods, many do ranchers especially (clips are limited to "5" for center fire ammo by design, or a metal pin in the mag).. But the "black rifle" is only for people with restricted permits and ONLY for range use.. They are the same damn rifle, same ammo, and function the same!!

And the number of mass-shootings went from what to zero? So gun confiscation does reduce mass shootings... although it may require neighboring countries to follow suit.

I wonder what the number of total shooting deaths was before? Peg says it is now near 6 or so per year. So if the US loses about 30,000 americans every year to guns... gun consfiscation (mexico & canada too) might reduce that to 100?

At what point are you willing to do something to help save ~30,000 lives annually?

This reminds me of the vaccination argument. Some misguided parents with a poor understanding of science try to remove a minor risk to their kid from an injection, but end up subjecting both their kid and their neightbors kids to diseases that were once held at bay: Polio, whooping cough, etc.

This was a townwhall meeting just this past June 2nd with Obama about gun control.

Obama actually answered everything for everybody once and for all. He actually in his own reply killed the gun control agenda. Nobody in the audience said anything. Either nobody had the balls to do it, or they were instructed by PBS to not interrupt the president in any way shape or form.

But Obama starts his answer with the example of automobile deaths. He is perfectly right, automobile deaths have decreased significantly and steady since the time he was a kid.

But there is a key difference in the example, that I think most of you would see immediately as you hear the president speaking. In the case of automobile deaths, nobody ever blamed the car. Nobody ever proposed passing a car ban. Nobody ever thought or talked about car control. INSTEAD, everything around cars and automobiles was made safer to protect people. Laws have been passed throughout the years to make bad drivers accountable for their actions. But nobody has ever held the car responsible for the actions. When a crazy whacko drives into a crowd killing people, nobody ever think about banning cars. Instead, we take actions towards that driver.

The libturd agenda is twisted, perverse, hypocrite, retarded, traitor, bizarre. Guns are not the issue and will never be. No matter how many arguments people make, guns in essence are NOT the problem. I mean, the topic is so ridiculous and stupid, that is similar to falling out of a bicycle and hurting your leg.
