The government does not define something as Islamic terrorism or Christian terrorism, its plain terrorism. Do we call the KKK Christian terrorists? When you start defining something, you begin to relate the two. Islam is not terrorism, but terrorists are using Islam to justify their actions. Just like the KKK and the Crusaders, and the Spanish Inquisition used Christianity to justify their actions. But Christianity has nothing to do with terrorism.

I ln5ow its a PC thing. I'm a Liberal but not PC. I personally don't care what you call it, but there is justification for why the government does not call it Islamic Terrorism.

In this day and age the different types of terrorism must be identified in order to know who are we fighting with. Obama doesn't identify it because to be honest he has no idea about anything he's doing. The poor chose was a community organizer. He was never qualified at all to be a president, not even a senator.

We have domestic terrorism, we have islamic terrorism, and if we had a christian extremist group in Africa planning attacks around the world, I am sure we would identify it as christian terrorism. Call it like it is. Its a matter of being honest and transparent.

Also...while I'm not saying the government needs to stop Americans from owning guns...but seriously something needs to be done with who is allowed to have one. There really needs to be a system in place to screen things better, as it is still shocking this guy was able to get his license, while on a watch list, and buy an AR-15 and handgun only weeks prior to the massacre.

Long story short...if you are proven to be of sound mind, with no criminal record, and pass all check then fine own a license and get a gun...but if you do not, there should be no legal way of obtaining one. Sure it wouldn't stop all gun crime...but it would make it harder to commit.

Many years ago at a nightclub in NYC more people were killed by a guy who set fire to the place and barricaded the doors. The fire and stampede killed far more than in Orlando. Stop the focus on the guns; you are losing site of the issue.

Several middle east countries had successful revolutions with a gun saturation rate less than 1/100 of the guns per capita here in the US. Thus, we already have 100 times as many guns (or more) than we need to overthrow a dictator.

Simply I don't feel anyone should surrender a right for the piece of mind of another. This is the same thought process that allows the religious to feel they have a right to legislate who can marry who. No ones comfort is worth another's freedom. This nation was founded on that very principle. From offensive speech to "dangerous" weapons.

I'm sorry your fear effects you to the point that you would be more comfortable striping the rights of others. However, this is a constitutionally protected right.
