Thread: Hello there :)
- 07-08-2010 #1
I've been lurking for a couple days and thought I should get involved as it may keep me motivated.
So... Hello, everyone
There really isn't much of a story to tell about being made fun of regarding the size of my penis, I've just always known it was a little under average, so never gave anyone the opportunity to make fun of it. As a result of my lack of confidence with my body I'm one of those lucky boys that felt the need to develop things other than his ego, like a personality, hobbies, skills and the ability to type full sentences.
Reaching my mid-twenties and having nothing particularly interesting ever happen to me led to a (minor) crisis of self which has resulted in a rather severe backlash of having no free time left anymore. After 10 years of wanting to learn I picked up an electric guitar (I was trained on classical), started writing songs again, I attend vocal training and kickboxing lessons and I run a small design studio that helps funds my little independent projects (short film, both live action and animated).
I should mention at this point that I'm no longer unhappy with my body. I don't look at myself in the mirror and cringe anymore, in fact, for the most part, I'm passed caring as I've become comfortable with who I am and what I'm trying to achieve. As a gay man who never felt quite 'cool' or 'hip' enough to hang with the scene queens, or pretty enough to get dates regularly, I always played second fiddle to friends in my social circle. I spent many years feeling inadequate and inferior to everyone I knew until I realised that I had something they didn't - the potential and motivation to be better. In fact, I love that I'm taking the initiative to make myself better at everything and aiming higher. I was lucky enough to have met a very special guy a little over three years ago and he's helped me with learning to appreciate myself and my potential by loving me for who and what I am, as opposed to what I could or should be.
That being said, I acknowledge that there's always room for improvement and it's with that in mind that I've begun JP's 90 Day PE routine since I've always wanted a larger/healthier penis. That coupled with a recent trend of premature ejaculation and flagging libido has brought me here. I haven't decided on any goals, nor have I taken the time to measure correctly just yet, however I would like to have a penis roughly on par with my boyfriend, which is about 7" (BPEL) and a bit thicker than my own. I suffer no delusions (I believe I'm starting on just 5.5" BPEL and thinner than his) and I'll complete the conditioning to see if I can make any noticable gains, but I remain skeptical, as I always do. If I can get even half an inch I think I'll be quite pleased as I can't say I care to have a monster cock or some sort of third leg. At very least I'd like to improve my stamina and EQ, but, if nothing else, it's a fun way to fill another hour of my free time.
I've run into some minor difficulties, being uncircumcised with a high frenulum join and quite a bit of overhang, and not fully understanding the 'correct' methods for certain techniques (they seem fairly straightforward for you cut guys), but I suspect that with time any inconsistencies will be ironed out and perhaps I could contribute a thread to help other uncut guys who are having issues with the stretching and jelqing after I've completed my conditioning. I'm relatively well informed regarding foreskin and I may be able to address some issues or concerns that uncut guys may have. One of the benefits of being gay, I suppose
A final note: Despite my skepticism after just one session my morning glory's returned. On closer inspection it felt much 'fuller' than it has since I was a teenager. I masturbate and have intercourse quite often, so I'm quite certain it felt different. Thanks to the founder of this site/forum and thanks to all the contributers who've help me understand the underlying principles of PE in the last week, especially JonPop for his easy-to-follow beginner plan. A good few days of reading has left me feeling better equipped to understand my penis. Thanks again, everyone

Welcome to the Gym, Denim!
Thanks for joining and thanks for posting. You have already found JP's 90 Day Beginner Routine. Excellent (but start out easy. 5 days a week is pretty intense.)
Here are a few very useful links:
Beginner's Penis Enhancement Checklist
Measurement Abbreviations and Acronyms (This will help you understand the terms that everyone uses around here.)
Start a Journal/Log! (This one will help you start a log. A log is a great place to keep track of your progress and workouts, and it makes it easy for others to pitch in with suggestions and comments.)
How long did it take you to gain an inch in length? (This one will give you some ideas about how quickly people gain.)
Read lots of threads and articles and ask lots of questions!
Good luck!

Thank you both for the warm welcome and show of support, it's much appreciated. I've read nearly 75 pages of JP's 90 Day thread and I'm about to read the last of it now, taking on board as much of the information as I can remember. Most of my questions seem to have already been answered, it's just a matter of patience and a bit of reading ^_^
I had already decided that 2/1 was better than 5/2 for me as I have kickboxing 4 times a week anyway and I'm careful these days to never push too hard - I've actually torn one of my left groin ligaments already, due to overdoing it with kicks, but that healed up about 6 months ago. I'm also nursing a small tear in my left foot... Also from overdoing the kicks.
When I started with the PE the other day I noticed a really good burn in the ligaments on the left side, the kind of thing you feel if you stretch and work out regularly. I know from experience that if you keep up training of any sort those gentle burns eventually go away altogether, so I'm not worried. It was gone by morning and replaced by a very happy boner, so I think I'm on the right track already.
Less is moreYou might want to buckle up.

Correct: Less is more.
2/1 is popular but even that needs working up to. You might consider going 1 On 2 Off for a few weeks, then 1/1, and so on.
I have actually reduced my schedule, under Big Al's coaching, to 3 days a week.

That's not a bad idea, Pirate, I think I might just do that. Thanks!
You might want to buckle up.

Denim, How about starting a log thread? I didn't start one until I had been PEing for months and that was a real mistake. I wasted a lot of time and effort because I was trying toe "reinvent the wheel" rather than benefiting from the experiences of all these other guys.
Hi Just try it both ways...
Bathmate first or jelq first?
