  • ED is one of my blood supply deficits

I have been visiting pegym for several months. In the beginning I didn’t think much of the forum, but I had to admit I have learnt a great deal about what I was going through by reading what others were willing to share. So I want to express my gratitude to each of you.

I’m 54 and I have ED. It came progressively without being aware what I was going through. 2 years ago I was unable to have sex with a woman that great stimulated me. So I need to take Viagra 3 times out of 5 to have sex for the past 2 years.

My ED was at least partly induced by a medication prescribed to me for 18 years to deal with fibromyalgia. I found out that this medication is now known to cause sexual dysfunction, which in most case is a blood supply deficit.

It also appears to some researchers that those who have fibromyalgia have “abnormal cerebral vascularisation”.

I also have the Raynaud syndrome which prompts abnormal spasm” the blood vessels which causes a ”diminished blood supply” to the fingers and toes when my hands and feet are cold.

Finally, I had the colon removed last year. It also seems to me that the surgery has impacts on my sexuality. It seems that the prostate reacts to surgery by prompting premature ejaculation.
My GP, beside prescribing Viagra, is not helpful. So I have to take things in my own hands. I have a healthy lifestyle. I have good eating habit, do not use prohibited drugs, and don’t drink alcohol. I work 10 hours a day, and do half hour walk a day.

I’m not ready to begin PE. I still have the challenge to cope with around 10 to 15 bowel movements everyday, some days even more than that. I have lost 20 pounds since my colectomy. Working, caring my family and eating the more I can and add Ensure on top of that to stop loosing weight.

I, for a long time, acted like I could live my entire life with deficient blood supply without problem. My second challenge is to enhance blood supply throughout my entire body . I began to take progressively the 5G tea, red wine extract, Pycogenol, propionyl l-carnitine, acetyl l-carnitine, l_arginine and use green argile.

I began to see real benefits 2-3 weeks ago. It seems that my concentration is much better, much less problems with my fingers and toes, the color of my hand and feet looks lot more healthy. I began to have erection without stimulation. I have not had these for a long long time.

Welcome! You seem to have some health problems that you are tired of suffering from. Good to hear your health is improving somewhat.
While it is improving, I would suggest keeping the Viagra on-hand for when you need it. No reason to go to sleep frustrated, when you could be having sex. I guess what i am saying is, if I had to choose between taking viagra and having sex, or not having sex at all, I'd take the viagra and sex. It is a great, and attainable goal, to not need it.

One of the great benefits of PE is the better erection quality (called EQ on here). Based on your last paragraph up there, I would pay attention to your fingers and toes while doing the exercises. We want you to get a healthier penis and keep your toes!

My sister has Raynoids (sp?) she can't even reach into the freezer without mittens!!

Hey man, I think it's excellent that you're trying to increase your blood flow! That is one of my goals too. I'm not a very physically active person, I live in a very cold climate during part of the year, and I have Raynaud's Syndrome too.

I think that, if you believe you have a "deficient blood supply," the cure is simple: to do everything you can to improve your entire circulatory system.

Wearing special Raynaud's gloves made of polyprophelene and a synthetic bio-ceramic material really helped my hands from the onset of blood vessel spasms caused by Raynaud's Syndrome. They're very comfortable gloves, and your hands will radiate heat, but you have to wear them constantly for long periods of time. This is the warmest my hands have ever been in the winter, but I wear my Raynaud's gloves whenever I can, especially while I sleep. I wake up in the morning with significantly warm hands.
Here's a site where you can buy some Raynaud's gloves or socks: Raynaud's Gloves & Socks - FIR Gloves & Socks for treating Raynauds Syndrome and reynaud's attacks You can save $5 by entering the coupon code "prolotex".

I only take 120mg Ginkgo pills and drink lots of teas (including green, ginger, and ginseng), but I am impressed by how many different supplements you are currently taking. If you think one in particular has worked really well for you, please let me know!

Thanks for joining the PEGym; you know, it's something that all guys should have the experience of doing. Once you finally take that next step and start a PE routine, you will be incredibly satisfied with the long-term results, and your penis will be healthier than ever before!

      Peace,
      -DS

        Welcome to the gym anyway,
I'm glad to see that the supplements you found here suits you well. You say that you're not ready to start PEing but keep on reading on the forum in case one day you are. Start here for example: Erectile Dysfunction Pills - Exercises are a Better Alternative.
What you can do to improve your condition meanwhile is starting a kegel routine: I don't think that your colectomy will be a problem for this. Kegels have a lot of benefits that you'll be interested to learn: Kegel Exercises For Men - Penis Exercise For Size and Hardness

You have more than your share of health issues. I commend you on working to improve your condition. As far as your frequent bowel movements think about adding a little Metamusal or Citracel like products to your diet, this will help bulk up your stool. The colon normal reabsorbs a fair amount liquid, the body usually adapts, over time to the removal of the colon by having the small bowel absorb more fluid. If you would like to discuss this more please PM me. I do have a few ideas and questions, but there is only so much poop talk the open forum need to see.

Think about starting kegels right away, as normalguy has sujested. Kegels are well know for increasing blood flow to the pelvic region and in many cases have greatly improved EQ. You don't have to set time aside to do them and they certainly will do you no harm. Good luck and I hope to hear more from you.
