  • Attempting for long term PE

I keep failing at staying committed. But since mid January I started making a change in other aspects of my life, like a stricter diet/workout schedule. Lost 10ish pounds in the first 2 weeks, not weighing in till a couple more weeks. So I figure I needed to get serious with PE while I am seriously trying to change myself physically.
I have started JP's again for conditioning, except Ive been really strict with my warm-up and warm-down, sometimes leaving my heat pad for 30-45 minutes.

Also have an STU that should be delivered tomorrow to help with edging sessions. Hopefully that helps me stay motivated.

    Welcome to the gym Pricaso,
Staying committed is the key to succeed here. We're all here to help if you need. Start a log and post regularly in it, this should help with motivation as well as the feedback you'll get.
    Good luck

Welcome to the gym, Pricaso! Listen to Normalguy....that's some solid advice right there.

I think you're going to enjoy the STU. I've been using mine for my edging sessions lately and it slowly seems to be helping my stamina. Also, as important as I believe warm ups/downs are, I don't think you need to waste that much time warming up....ten minutes under real good heat should be just fine.

Thanks for the tip. So far Ive preferred a hand written log rather than an online one; tried an online one at a different forum and went from day to day updates to weekly then to monthly...so I think I will stick with a journal for now, maybe after my conditioning period and when I look into hanging/clamping I'll use an online log for tips on those since I never did try them on my last attempt with PE.

Thanks for the reply. Yea just got the STU and used it for a 30 minute edging session, much more productive feeling (and really helps with a reduction on porn). I figure it might be too much time for a warm up but last summer when I was PE'ing I found that that was the area I skimped out on the most, so trying to improve upon that area.
