    Hello PE GYM,

    My screen name is "biggrjoe", after initially considering "avgjoe", but I thought a more optimistic screen name would be better as I begin this journey. I still need to update my profile...which I plan to do soon. This is my first post. I have been reading through the site the last week or so trying to educate myself some, and have a couple quick questions.
    #1, What is edging?
    #2, What is ballooning?

    Now, what I'm wondering is what is considered to be the most effective method for PE? Hanging? Pumps? Jelqing? Or a combination of them all???

    After reading many posts from remek, bib, dustpan, etc...hanging has really captured my interests. Before coming across this site, I was intending to purchase a MegaVac pump by Dr. Joel Kaplan after an old friend slipped up and told me he used it. I asked him what kind of gains he'd achieved using it, and he said about an inch in length, but he was more pleased with the girth gains he'd achieved...although I don't remember what he said it was. This was encouraging, as it was the first time I'd ever heard anyone say anything positive about PE that wasn't selling something. I've looked though the site and there is some info here and there on pumping, but not much, unless I'm looking in the wrong place? I have not started a single day of PE, but plan to start with the JP90. I think I would like to hang personally...but I don't know is jelqing or pumping in conjunction with hanging good/bad/dangerous, etc? Let me say this too, I have EVERY intention of taking this process nice and slow...as I understand the delicacy of the situation. I haven't measured myself recently, but I will post accurate measurements once I update my profile. Closest estimates are 6.0 x 5.0-5.5 maybe??? I'm not real sure to be honest.
    My goal will be 8 x 6...does this seem reasonable/attainable???

    I welcome any feedback, and look forward to sharing my journey with everyone here, as well as hearing and seeing everyone else making progress along the way too. It took me a couple of days just to start getting down some of the lingo/acronyms being used on the site.

    Last but not least...I told my wife of almost 6 years that I was going to start doing PE and even showed her this site. She is very supportive and just wants me to be careful. I am doing this ONLY because I want a larger, thicker, longer penis...not because she isn't happy with me now. She has multiple orgasms every time we have sex, and says that I am the best lover she has ever had despite being with guys much larger in the past...anywhere from 7.5-9 inches in some cases. I am very confident in bed, have had most every girlfriend I've had tell me how much they've enjoyed having sex with me, but I'm just not satisfied with being of average size...plain and simple! So that's why I'm here. I go to the gym to work out and improve my physical health, and to look my best...so why not improve the quality of my "joystick" if I can???

    I am a 33 yr old white male, 6 ft 195-200lbs...for those that were curious.

    Any tips, suggestions, comments or questions are all welcomed.
    Important tid-bit, I pretty much work from home, so from 9am-3pm I am home with plenty of privacy Mon-Fri

    Welcome to the Gym, biggrjoe! You seem to have the desire and time to do PE. That's awesome that you let the wife in on it from the ground level. I would start with one of the newbie routines found in the newbie section before getting into pumping and other advanced PE methods. Best of luck to you on your PE journey!

    To me, there is no shame in PE. It's no different than when guys first began to lift weights/bodybuild and it was a fringe thing. Now it's mainstream.

    Thanks a lot higherone! I know it will probably be months before I'm conditioned for any kind or advanced PE. One question I forgot to ask is how doing PE will affect my normal sex routine? That was the first question the wife wanted to know? Will I be able to maintain normal sex life...around every other day or so??? Or will I be too fatigued?

    Welocome to the PE Gym. Penis health is goal number one if you start out with a good Beginners workout you can expect some gains, but more importantantly a better sex life with harder, stronger and longer lasting erections.

    similar case as mine as I told the wife who was happy with what I had and so was I but why not check it out, curiousity killed the cat, right.
    I am a pumper and I own a kaplan pump, I bought the gold package and I have the manual pump. I would not start with the electric unless you dont care how much you spend, I am sure its cool but damn expensive and untill you know if you want to pump for the long term I wouldnt spend the cash, can always buy electric pump later.
    I gained 1/2 an inch in lenght the first month, havent cehecked since but the wife keeps saying its bigger.
    any how I mix in manual exercises with the pumping but i must admit I like the pump alot.
