I am recovering from a spinal injury and back surgery, and was actually paralyzed from the chest down for a short time, and would like to try and regain some of the size and strength I have lost (while I am trying to build up everything else), I think this forum will help. There appears to be quite a lot of good information, and very friendly people, here.

Welcome to The Gym, Scott! That's clearly a pretty huge ordeal you've gone through, but it sounds like you are a positive guy who is ready to work toward recovery! That's awesome. The Gym is a great place to be! There's so much good experience and knowledge here with a lot of great people, there's really no end to the support you can find here. Good luck with everything!

Well I'm friendly except when I'm grumpy but you are right; the rest of the folks on here are friendly and they actually know what they are talking about. Welcome to the gym and have fun.
