    I've been a lurker for a while but decided to sign up today since it's time to actually get going and put a program in motion.

    A little about myself...I'm in my late 30s, with a naturally athletic build, only a couple of extra KG on my frame and I work from home.Just moved out of the big city down to the beach for the first time in my life and with it some other big changes. I just gave up a 1.5 pack a day 20 year smoking habit exactly 24 days ago and have started some light running (4km) twice a day when possible. I've used lots of drugs over the years as well but that's in the rear view mirror now, I'm very committed to a completely healthy lifestyle. Until about a year ago porn was also part of my daily sexual diet and I'd masturbate 2x a day on average.

    A few years ago I noticed a weakening in the strength of my erections and overall slide in sex drive. Going back and getting high would take care of things but those days are over. Right now I'm sneaking 10mg of Cialis on occasion which help the erection but I think more than anything give me a little more confidence with my gf but I really want to end that cycle.

    There are some mental and physical issues to overcome but my mindset is definitely right and I'm looking to (in order of priority):
    1. Rebuild my natural sex drive and regain my stamina
    2. Strengthen my erections
    3. Increase my size

    I've done some reading and I'm thinking that for starters this might be a good way for me to begin:
    1. JP 90 Day routine
    2. Get a Bathmate or Vacutech
    3. Take the 5G supplements

    I'd really appreciate any guidance that you can offer, especially when it comes to any devices that I might want to get since I'm in the luxurious position of working from home all day alone and can leave something in place for hours.

    Welcome to the gym and congrats on kicking some demons.

    JP90 is a great way to start, if you are going to get a pump then go with the Vacutech, in my opinion air pumps are better, easier to use and offer many more options. Your not confined to the bath or shower.

    If I had the place for privacy all day i would look at extenders or hanging. Start off with the JP90 day first and learn your penis and its reactions, many gain well with manual alone. You can also take the 90 days and research and ask us questions so as you get closer you may have a better idea of which device you want to try. The pump is good to get at first and they go well with a manual routine.

        If I had known there was a JP90 when I got my first extender, I would have done the JP90 and some very light extending on the side.
        Many state, do the JP90 first, the extending later. I extended for almost two years before discovering the PEGym. So since then I've mixed in the JP90, and in my opinion, have been all the better off for doing so.
        Study up on a safe pump, and how to pump safely, if you go that route.

          Hi Dangler

          Is there one authoritative thread somewhere that discusses extending vs pumping? My head is a bit spun around here after so much reading

            I think they are apples vs oranges.
            As an example, I use a pump for certain reasons, goals. I use an extender to accomplish other goals.
            Some times after extending, I would pump to restore circulation. Sometimes I pump as part of ED therapy.
            If you only look at the two methods through eyeglass lenses stenciled with "how do I get longer", your missing the bigger picture.
            Most successful PE'rs have more than one tool in their PE toolbox, just as the JP90 has more than one exercise.

                Thanks for the info. I get exactly what you're saying and I think that if anything the biggest "problem" I've found so far on the site is an over-abundance of worthwhile information that to a newbie doesn't seem to have any level of prioritization.

                For example, I'm sure that some devices are much better after you've been at it for some time whereas other devices have less of a change of causing you damage and while the gains are smaller, so are the risks.

                Without much perspective it's tough for me to gauge which fits in better for me. I've already stated my goals in my intro post and while growth is important to me it's not top job right now which is why I assumed that a pump would be a much better option now for me since I've read so many posts here regarding the circulation benefits. Of course, I could very well get both an extender and a pump to pair with the exercises but I don't want to overdo it since I think the main lesson that I've taken away from thousands of posts is that anything outside of "slow and steady" is very counterproductive.

                @ BigO...regarding the Vacutech, which of their products should I be looking at?

                  This link should help, stick with a beginner plan, the gym gets much less confusing quickly.

                  Vacutech should have a chart that will help you get the correct sized set up, stick with a regular cylinder and a pump with a guage. Do you know your girth?

                    Thanks Big O, I had already followed every link on that page and read through...a wee bit grueling on the reading front

                    Girth is 4.5 so I guess you're saying this product Best Value System - Complete Systems - Vacu-Tech rather than this one Elliptical ThickWall System - New Products Sale - Complete Systems - Vacu-Tech? At only $30 different wouldn't the more expensive set be a better buy?

                    I can see why the VT would be a better choice than the BM since it's far more easy to use out of the shower. My only doubt comes with the costs associated with getting a new cylinder should I outgrow it whereas the BM doesn't have that problem. Should that be a legitimate worry?

                      Bath-mate uses a one size fits most approach, I am not a believer in Bath-mate or and of the products they sell. You may out grow your cylinder but it wont happen quickly and besides wouldn't that suck to have to get a new cylinder because now your dick got too big

                      I see guys here and on other sites saying their bath-mate broke and customer support sucks all the time. I have seen way to many complaints about them.

                      If the cost is not a problem I would say the thick wall set looks like a good deal, a bit more but it comes with the strap which will help you maintain engorgement when you are done pumping. The price on the value set is also very good, I think either is a great deal. The thick wall supposedly adds a little weight but I am not sure it does much, You will be happy either way.

                      All in all I think the results will be better with the Vacutech.

                        If there was such a thread it would be mostly full of opinions from guys that have only done one or the other, Pumping is mostly for girth and extending is mostly for length They both claim to provide both but if you are looking for girth then get a pump, use low hg for longer sets once you have been conditioned for pumping. Start with short sets for at least a few weeks to a month.
