Hello all,
Came upon this forum after I got tired of the last one I was in being in what seemed like a permanent maintenance mode.
About five months ago I was nearing what would end up being the tail end of a long depression. Going bald, issues with the wife, just some bad times. She was deployed and about a month into it I was feeling worse. For some reason, I decided to measure myself. I hadn't done that since I was a teen and I was happy at being 6" then. This time when I measured, I was at 5 1/2" BPEL. Don't know why, but I said fuck that. I'm not gonna get any lower.
I started looking around online. Pills, pumps, extenders, exercises. Stuff I thought was all scams when I was younger. After going through it all and reading some forums back then, I decided on a Sizegenetics Extender. Money back guarantee kinda helped. Figured what do I have to lose. Let my wife know what was going on and she was as skeptical as I, but hey if it worked great.
I followed the suggested times of use and adding of the lengths as recommended. It was awkward to use at first, but I eventually got the hang of it. After the first month I was up to around 6 1/4" BPEL. Makes me believe I just wasn't as hard as I thought I was when I ordered. Oh well too late now. Second month I was just over 6 1/2". Getting pretty happy now, decided I was gonna do something about this baldness and shaved my head. Felt great, hadn't done that since I was deployed and I hated it then. The third month I neared 7'. Wasn't quite there, but was close enough. This past month, some issues have come up in my life and I have not worn it as much as I would have liked.
I'll be nearing the fourth month mark on the 9th, and regardless of if I lost anything due to not wearing it as much lately, I'll still be pretty happy. Knowing this stuff works has definitely helped turn my life around. With the exception of the past month, been happier than I have been in a long time, and my wife and kids both see that.
I only did exercises in the first week. Just felt like I wasn't doing it right. Been thinking to start it back up here on the next measurement date just to maximize gains at this point. Whatever I end up with by next October is what I'll be looking to maintain. I was happy at 6, very happy at 7, anything past this is a bonus.
I know I still have plenty to learn, and from what I've read here so far, this seems a good place to find those answers.

Have you thought about doing manual exercises instead of using an extender?
I would suggest to you also to do kegels and reverse kegels:
