    I'm a new member, hello everyone! I've been lurking around PEGym for around two years now, however, I never actually joined or attempted penis exercises before. Tonight (it's really really late/early in the morning) I decided to just go ahead and join. I joined because I've always been extremely modest and laid-back in personality, and mostly I'm doing this for self-esteem purposes, but I also want to work to do PE so I can pleasure partners with even better results (such as lasting longer, etc).

    I'm still doing a bit of research before I start a schedule and everything in terms of jelqing, etc. though I do have an end goal, so that's a start. So for a bit of time, I'll continue researching until I'm confident in a schedule that works for me. Some areas I need more research in than others, for example, my penis has a slight, horizontal bend, and no vertical curve, and I wish to straighten my penis and perhaps give it a bit of a vertical curve upwards, and I have no idea on how to do that. Having said that, I do have a few questions though that I can't find while skimming through the forums.

    - Should you masturbate after jelqing sessions?
    - I've read some people say that jelqing is better in the shower, and some people say not to do so and use natural lube only. What is the best thing to do in this case?
    - The product "BathMate". I've been thinking about getting it. However, should I buy it and use it alongside learning how to use jelqing and other PE techniques as a beginner? Will it affect the inches I can gain, or should I use BathMate only when I reached a maximum amount of gained inches via jelqing?
    - Is it even worth it to do any sort of penis exercise while having a bit of stomach fat? I'm not obese, but I do have a slight gut, and I already knew that losing that weight can help with at least length of the penis. So, should I lose that weight first before any PE?
    - Which is generally harder to do (in terms of time and patience): Jelqs or Kegels? I notice that when I masturbate, I can edge, but I believe my PC muscles are lacking and sometimes no matter what I always go past the point of no return.

    Apologies for so much questions on a first and welcome post. Haha I promise I've read as much stuff as I could find and locate (minus these questions obviously). Anyway... hello again! Hopefully I can learn a lot on PEGym, I look forward to being on here for a long time and perhaps having conversations with some of you. Ultimately, I plan to not start immediately (as said above), but I do wish to begin soon, so by the time the new year rolls in, and around late December of 2014, I'll have at least some changes down below.     And if you haven't already done so, please read the START HERE thread and focus on safety.


    When done correctly, PE will greatly improve your penile health and increase your EQ, in addition to size gains, but you need to be consistent, patient and persistent, please do as much research as you can, ask questions, follow safety and exercise instructions carefully and remember that PE is a long term process, don't rush it up.

    Stamina exercises contribute to EQ, penile health and gains, I suggest you read through the Premature Ejaculation Forum and follow a balanced regular and reverse kegels routine for optimum pelvic floor health and conditioning, as well as practice Edging after your routine for more stamina and control.

    I recommend using a heating pad or a rice sock for a warmup, and against using soap for lubrication as it will harm your skin, also keep your testicles away from the heat as they function better when they are cooler.

    - Before using any devices or doing any advanced exercises, I recommend you first condition your penis by following a beginner's manual routine for at least 90 days or until you stop gaining - whichever comes last. Most members here start with JP90, and gain fine from it, being an intense beginner's routine, you may want to consider starting slow and gradually increase workload!

    - Sure, why not, your BPEL is your usable length, and by loosing weigth you will increase your visible length and your overall health.

    - Like all your skeletal muscles, PC muscle requires gradual training and rest, and don't forget reverse kegels to maintain balance.

    Kegels and jelqing work together to improve your penile health and size.


    Starting a journal in the progress forum is a good idea, to track your progress and get feedback, also for motivation!



    Pay attention to your PIs, your penis is trying to tell you if you are over working, or you are in the growth zone, aim for positive PIs, and steer away from the negative ones.

      Hey ForeverCanadian!

      Welcome to the Gym.

      I recommend you start right away with a light routine until you feel comfortable that it will benefit you and build up to a full beginners routine.

      Some say jelqing and stretching against the bend will help. The extender manufacturers claim that extending can help with the bend but as MrB8 advised, devices should not be used until your dick is properly conditioned.

      As far as developing an upward curve is concerned, I believe you will have a problem fighting your genetic make-up. Perhaps improved EQ will help.

        Very wise of you to do your research before just jumping in! I've been at this for a few years now, and still learn new things all the time.

        Some will advise against it. The theory is that you may turtle after a workout, and hinder your gains. Personally, I feel that as long as you're not going crazy, normal masturbation habits aren't going to have a huge affect on gains.

        Experiment yourself, and see what you like! While you should always consider advice from those more experienced, you shouldn't take it as gospel. We are all different, and what works best for me may not work the best for you. The only way to truly know is to just give a few things a try. Experimentation is one of the fun aspects of PE!

        I have an air pump, and a Bathmate. I'd recommend researching both - as I prefer the air pump to the BM any day. Aside from that, I would recommend making it through the JP90 before getting carried away with devices. Trying to learn too much all at the same time may cause you to miss something important

        You're fine to start PE now. In fact, you should work on your physical health as well at the same time!

        Neither are difficult. I don't do a normal kegel routine though - I've found it more effective to tie it into a daily activity and build a habit out of it. I do mine any time i'm driving. I've done it this way so long, that I automatically do them as soon as I sit in the car. It's effortless, and takes zero time out of my day. I'd suggest trying something similar!

          These don't look like too many questions I see that you already have a few answers but i thought another would not hurt

          from my experience, i noticed a decrease in Positive Indicators if i masturbated to completion after my routine. I did it more than once... before i quit porn n masturbation, but that's another story
          You shall also find various opinions on this forum advising against it

          Personally, i generally don't do it in the shower coz it'll take too long and i don't want questions regarding my lengthy bathroom times, but when i want a quick stretch on an off day, i may do a quick 15min jelq w/o any issue ... i'm not sure about other opinions on this topic

          Yes it's worth it.
          There are many people on here who do it and have belly fat.
          How about losing the belly fat while still doing PE?

          I think both would take time depending on how you're doing them,but kegels may require less "adjustment" when doing them;
          Jelqs will require a routine and well, your penis in your hands... kegels on the other hand don't require ceremony

          but either way, you shall require patience and dedication for both
