hi everyone, new user, been doing very light excercises for about a week (wet jelq and kegels) but I'm still having some doubts about this here, one logical and one scientific and I thought this would be the place to address it.
1 if this works, wouldn't every guy be doing this and wouldn't it be advertised everywhere.
2 I've been reading up on how body stuff works and I'm seeing a lot of people debunking the "it can be trained just like a muscle argument." it's stated that the human body is incapable of manufacturing additional complex tissue. muscles and skin are an exception because wear and tear is genetically anticipated, but not for our corpus caver something and if there are gains it would be sacrificing girth for length and even worse it could possibly have adverse effects on your size.
thing is, I'm not worried about length, I really need more girth. I haven't measured it but it's definitely below average and a source of insecurity for me and I decided to, along with getting back in shape to address this.
so I guess I'm looking for some counter opinions to assure me that I'm not goig to damage anything and maybe some advice.
thanks in advance

Welcome
1) resistance training will give a man a more muscular body. Why wouldn't every man do it? Eating healthy can improve quality of life and help people live longer. Why wouldn't everyone do it? See the common thing here? People are lazy! None of these things give instant results, and it all takes a lot of work. That fillers out 99 percent of the population alone. Add to that the taboo nature of PE, many simply don't even know it exists.
2) The penis can't be trained like a muscle. Any time I've ever seen this analogy, it quickly gets shut down.
Tissues of the body do heal though. Cells can and do elongate and divide. Tissues can lose some of their elasticity. PE can be thought of as a slow and purposeful deformation of a part of the body. Even recent scientific studies (using extenders) have proven that the penis can increase in size.
Why not just try and see for yourself? Give it 90 days, and keep accurate records. You'll haveyourananswer. Worse case is you will be out some of your time

Hi tripjacks,
welcome to the gym.
Not everybody wants a bigger penis, the vast majority of those that do, don't want it enough to use the internet to find out if it's possible, if so how it's possible, and then commit to a very consistent routine for a considerably long time to achieve it. PE is demanding, and requires a lot of patience and dedication, most people have neither.
PE doesn't train the penis like regular muscle training, ie hypertrophy that a bodybuilder depends upon for growth. It simply expands the cells until the cells divide.
My biology isn't the most knowledgeable I'm afraid. But a lot of penis extender manufacturers use examples such as tribesmen who insert discs into their bottom lips to expand it, tribeswomen who put collars around their necks. And the modern thing I keep seeing is people who have hoops inserted into their earlobes, then as the earlobe expands, they replace the loop with a larger one. It's the same principle.Start: March 3, 2014 : BPEL=182mm, EG=146mm.
Current: October 4, 2014 : BPEL=204mm, EG=150mm.

You just received some good points already. I would like to add some information to question 2.
Your penis is made up of several types of tissue, the two major types are smooth muscle and tunica (very similar to ligaments and tendons).
There are many types of smooth muscle in the human body. The stomach and bladder are two groups of smooth muscle that we all recognize. Competitive eaters perform "exercises" to make their stomach larger and keep it large. This "exercise" is to dring lots of water to fill and stretch the stomach during the day. Over time the stomach became larger because the smooth muscles cells split and multiplied.
The bladder on the other hand is sometimes compelled to stretch and get larger, particularly if you are on a long road-trip with me at the wheel. Time spent "holding it" eventually increases the size of the bladder just like the water for the competitive eaters.
Jelqing forces the blood inside the penis to stretch the smooth muscles of the CC and CS. This stretching causes the smooth muscles to split and multiply just like the stretching examples above.
The tunica, however, is different. Being more like ligaments and tendons it will behave more like ligaments and tendons; i.e. they stretch and when regenerated, remain longer than before the stretch. If you don't know any tennis players you may not know many people who have had to have the tendons supporting their rotator cuff clipped and reattached. This is because serving causes a repeated strain on the shoulder that lengthens the tendons over time. If not corrected, the shoulder becomes unstable and can dislocate while serving the ball.
In our case, the repetitive strain causes the tunica to stretch over time and regenerate in a longer state; which is precisely what we want to happen.
It is important to realize the tunica is made of two layers, one aligned longitudinally the other aligned circumferentially. Significant gains in length and girth requires both layers to be lengthened in both directions (increase the length of each strand and increase the space between each strand). If balanced appropriately (stretching the longitudinal and circumferential tissue and increasing smooth muscles cells), length does not come at the expense of girth.
The art of PE is to discover how we can replicate these effects of these better known examples (stretched ligaments and increase smooth muscle cells) and put them to effect in the penis (stretching the tunica and increasing the number of smooth muscle cells) to achieve permanent gains.Last edited by namsokiek; 09-11-2014 at 04:52 AM.

Welcome to the Gym, and to answer your questions:
1. No, if EVERY guy knew about it, still only a fraction of them would do it, consistently do it, and do it long-term. People are very lazy. I have been a member on here for a little over a year, I have replied to nearly every introduction post on here, and I'd say maybe 1 in 50 guys sticks around for more than a couple of months. Gains take time, dedication, consistency, and patience. These are values that are being depleted in the modern world more and more, and people simply won't want to wait a full year to gain an inch. It is nothing bad, heck it is a hell of a lot of hours of your life dedicated to your dick, which most don't see as worth it.
2. If you want to read the science behind PE, there is a good PE theory and science forum on here that has a lot of posts discussing this topic. MrB8 will probably drop in shortly with fantastic links for you to have a read of (the guy is a thread master!). Personally, I have gained quite well and can only tell you from personal experience that it definitely works. The site is free, and while it contains advertisements to help support the technical maintenance of it, none of the mods or admins are paid in anyway.
The advice you will constantly be given is to a manual beginner's routine to start with to see for yourself that it works. We benefit nothing from this except to help others get bigger dicks, greater confidence, and greater control in their lives. Some people like devices (like myself), but they are never rammed down people's throats (like on other similar PE websites and forums that shall remain nameless). Anyway, welcome to the forum, and hopefully you will be the 1 in 50 that gets into PE in the long-term

I doubted it too, but I did it, and I still do it, over a year later..
It is possible to break your dick with PE, and recover, as I well know..
It takes more patience, waiting to recover from injuries, than it does, trying to achieve gains..
So be careful!

Then pick one of the manual beginner routines to follow for at least 90 days to condition your penis, most members here choose JP90.
Pay attention to your PIs, your penis is trying to tell you if you are over working, or you are in the growth zone, aim for positive PIs, and steer away from the negative ones.
