My clamping device consists of u-joint clamps for a car driveshaft. It doesn't work well because it's uncomfortable. I am exploring the vacuum hanger concept right now and am making one.
I recommend the Bib hanger or the Malehanger. The Malehanger is basically a cheap copy of the Bib hanger. I will be buying a Bib hanger soon for heavy hanging above 20 pounds. I use the vacuum hanger for lighter routines because you simply cant beat the comfort of a vacuum hanger.

Hey I see you made your own device , would you mind sharing details of that? I’ve recently decided I want to try hanging, I did sock hanger a couple of times and feel the benefit , I’ve been clamping and stretching last few months so I’m conditioned, please let me know if you don’t mind?
