I just have this gut feeling that what researchers have officially recorded as the average penis size is false. What I usually see, in Internet articles, is 4.7"-6.3" (so about 5" or 5.5"). How can this be right? 4.7" is a pretty small penis, not to offend anyone. It almost seems like they recorded the real average and just chopped an inch off, 5.7-7.3 sounds more realistic to me. Am I just being crazy or paranoid? Is the research legit or are they just trying to comfort the average man? I believe the average is 6" so it would make sense to lie and say it's 5", comforting a very large population of men.

Well, I see my dick Doctor tommorrow , for low testosterone , if I remember , I'll get his opinion. But I kinda agree with you OP, as much as it bums me out.A prayer, is kinda the same as a "Like". If there are enough likes, God will take notice. So "Like" away please. My daughter needs your prayers. Thank You.

Everyone knows that the average penis size is 8 inches, anything under 7 is embarrassingly small and big starts around 10 inches.
In fact, if you were to ask most women, they routinely come across 10+ inche dongs.
How did I get here?
Well I was looking for Pygmy.com (I gotta thing for small people, so what), and ended up here.
And I've been here ever since.

What study says 4.7" bpel I have not seen it ?
There is a great deal of consistency in the studies at over 5" usually high 5 so 5.8".

Yeah there isn't any "how many participated" numbers at the bottom of it, just the data for each one..Start: 11/2013: BPEL: 4.73" MEG: 4.5"
Best: BPEL: 7" MEG: 5.625"
Current:BPEL: 7" MEG: 5.5"

I love posts like these - it's so interesting to repeatedly see the same kind of disbelief in the newer studies.
I think that the 1948 Kinsey study (68 years ago!) - which as we now know was *hugely* flawed allowing
self reporting is partly responsible. Along with porn - these two things over the years have almost cemented in the minds of people that the average size 6" - when newer studies almost certainly prove this is simply not true. When it comes to the internet there are many many many articles about average size - with zero reference's or citations that usually state some random average range 5-7" is average 5.3-7.5" is average blah blah blah......always seemingly
average to high average range - rarely covering both ends of the scale.
And then once shown this info - folk tend to over critically think as to why the new studies are wrong - it's hilarious really
My favourite is when people represent some females experience with a sample size of 4 men as the definitive "Study" - cracks me up every time!
it's almost a case study in brainwashing/mis-information on a global scale
This is not a attack on you OP - it's a very common thing - it's just I have seen so many posts like this - it's never ending!

no where did I read that the average was exactly 4.7, that first thing I posted was the average range (4.7-6.3) which I've read in several articles. Snapchat even recently posted an article, written by a man with micropenis, where he also posts that number range. So the average of that is 5.5 with a std. dev. of 1.2. And by no means am I complaining because either way I fall under as "average", but it just kinda plays with my head that I'm slightly above this supposed average yet I still don't think I'm all that big. That would also make 4.7 not an outlier, but within a standard deviation, making it apparently common, which again just doesn't sound right to me.Starting:
FLACCID:
- NBPL: ~4
- NBPSL: 5.5
- BPSL: 7
- Girth: 4.2
ERECT:
- NBPL: ~6
- BPL: 6.8
- Girth: 5.5
Goal:
- BPEL: 7.5/8
- Girth: 6
