Edging has not the same effect as priapism if it's not done for more than 4 hours and doesn't trap the blood in the penis, making the whole affair traumatically painful. From the descriptions of each I've read, there are orders of magnitude between the two.

Not that I want to be negative, I just think the chances are slim!

This is the only medical phenomena I know of that is remotely comparable to edging. If you have a better explanation for why / how edging works, I'm interested in hearing it.

let me put it this way: I think that clamping or using a cock ring, as well as pumping with a powerful pump like bathmate, works to increase penis size permanently -- or at least long enough each day that it is as good as permanent if you do it every day. Definitely, that is the priapism effect. Yesterday I did clamping for one and a half hours all in all, with ten minute segments here and there that focused on enlarging the glans especially. At that point, when you have got so much blood trapped and then go on to squeeze it into your glans and hold it there, it gets painful really quickly, simply because of the pressure and the sensibility of the glans' tissue.

I am not much of a fan of edging for PE purposes because I think it is too weak to work.

Note aside, I once took medicine that had priapism as a side effect, in less than 1% of all cases. I knew about the condition beforehand and thought it was quite cool if it wouldn't be painful. Then I really studied it and was deathly afraid to take that stupid pill! I don't wanna show a doctor my massive, veiny hardon just for him to prick it with a needle and watch it deflate. What the hell, man.
