    OK, here is a theory. While doing stretches, Can you get more of a stretch if you use a massager on your penis? Will the vibrations cause you to stretch more on a minute microscopic level?

    And is it good to use a massager on the penis after a PE workout for recovery? It works on muscles, would it work on the penis?

    Please discuss.

    Studies have shown that vibration on smooth muscle actually has the opposite effect as it does on skeletal muscle. Depending on the frequency, it makes the smooth muscle (including vascular smooth muscle) want to contract more than it normally would, thus reducing blood flow and elasticity. It's a similar effect as cold-induced vasospasm, which is a condition when blood vessels spasm and cut off blood flow from vasoconstriction; basically what happens to the body as you start to become hypothermic.

      That actually makes sense. I tried it the other day and was a bit smaller after a stretching session and I couldnt understand why. Thanks a bunch!

        First of all, sorry for replying to a very old thread. I understand originally involved people will most likely not respond.

        I didn't find much on this topic, but I fonud for example this study here:

        Let me quote
        The results indicate that the stiffness of active smooth muscles can be physically reduced using external vibrations.
        That is quite opposite to what's been written above.
        Even if it would make the smooth muscle want to contract, while fully erect this will not be much possible for it, meaning it will be pretty much exercising against expanded penis. And we all know what happens to muscles when we are exercising them. My only problem that according to TGC I should rather stretch my tunica all the time

        I have a wand massager we haven't used with my wife for years now. I think I will give this a try during edging sessions (meaning I will be fully erect when applying the vibrations, never when flaccid) . If it relaxes the smooth muscles I will be able to get more blood in and reach better expansion. If it causes contractions I should be getting very strong erections soon from the smooth muscle growth.

        I will report back with results in some time - whether it is stronger erections or extensive turtling

        EDIT:
        I also found another study which indicates significant reduction in blood flow in a finger that was exposed for 30 mins to vibrations (compared to a finger that was not). So that would indicate contraction of the blood vessels/arteries. I guess the results may depend on the frequency as well.

          Well, I have incorporated vibe-edging into my routine as "warm down" practice. I have done it for about 30 mins each of the last three nights. Basically I don't need to stroke my penis I just apply vibrations and that's enough (together with the "The hot girls thread" here on pegym) to keep my penis fully erect. Sometimes together with kegels it takes me almost to PONR, where I need to stop for a few seconds.
          I have a feeling that after the session I don't go flaccid so quickly. I have also noticed that my whole penis really vibrates. I checked that by putting metal measure tape on my glans and it started to make a vibration noise (I usually apply the wand to the middle of my shaft).
          Apart from that I haven't noticed any soreness, turtling or anything else that would be interesting. For now I will continue with this practice as it is quite pleasurable I must say and we will see if there will be any long term effects. I will report back in a month or two.

          EDIT: I was also considering applying the wand massager during hanging/stretching, but for now I will stay away from this as I read a study where vibrations decreased blood flow and temperature in a finger that was "vibrated" for (I believe) 30mins. And I don't think that's wise during hanging. I rather apply heat during my PE.

            Interesting...In my opinion, I would shy away from visual stimulation (e.g. Hot Girls Thread) and use your imagination instead. For example, imagine you and your wife having sex in different scenarios. There is a danger with depending on other sources of visual stimulations which can lead to the dark path of porn.

              Hi, I abandoned my trial with vibe-edging too soon to make any conclusions. I may go back to it at some point, but I prefer to invest the time in other exercises at the moment.

                This would've been interesting to see how it goes on the long term.
                VRSelector is a directory with adult vr videos. You get to test videos from multiple places before you decide to pay for a subscription.

                  Hi IdealPenis, I may go back to this idea when on break - just doing this and no other forms of PE (apart from kegels and maybe some pelvic floor exercises). But I think there are no miracle pills in PE world. People need to work hard, consistently and long enough to see results.
