I apply heat the entire time while extending (400+ hrs) but have had no length gains. The article makes it sound like I might be better off if I allow it to cool down while still in the extender. Thinking I should try this for maybe the last hour before taking it off.

I was thinking of experimenting with a mouse tail the next time one of my cats brings us one of their donations to the family larder

They mean well. Well, mostly they do. Once one of them actually broke into our pet mice cage. I saw the little bugger with our mouse in her mouth, and thought to myself how I could possibly get her to let it go. Not a chance. She disappeared under the house with her prize, and then expected me to forget all about it when she came back inside later for cuddles. Naughty cat.

When I was a kid we had a cat that would deposit kangaroo rats on our beds then sit there with a " look what I brought you" look. Lol

My first prototype consist of the following:
Velcro one wrap as an anchor below the knee,
my wench hanger, also velcro one wrap,
my silicone ADS sleeve,
two mini bungees linked to span the distance from hanger to anchor, and
one hand warmer.
results: Hand warmers provide "warmth" to "cold" hands. They do not heat things. (good think I only purchased one package)
Need to be worn with baggy pants!
I plan on buying some second hand suspenders to use instead of the bungees.

Since heat increases elasticity and cold helps the tissues remain at the stretched length would stretching for 30 seconds under hot water and then holding the stretch for a further 30 seconds under cold water be effective?
After re-reading the article I have been thinking of applying this to my 10 minute stretching routine

Yes the cold might make it turtle but I was thinking of doing this in order to avoid turtling:
Stretch with heat (30 sec)
Continue stretch with cold (30 sec)
Release stretch, Heli/firestarter to restore blood
heat up with shower-head and then repeat the process
Thoughts? would the warming-up after the 30 sec of cold negate the effects and effectively render it useless?

I think you should take longer before changing between heat and cold and have the temperature penetrate further than the skin. Then reheating after the cold would take longer than heating from normal body temperature.
