  • Yourbrainonporn.com legit or not?

Hey guys lets discuess about a very interesting blog called yourbrainonporn.com that explains the bad effects of porn abuse. Many young men have porn induced ED and are complaining of sensitivity and as well as premature ejcalution problems. Who are behind this site? Its gary wilson and marinia robison who do have knowledge about the brains and do have a great background but i may fear they are profiting on a profitable niche (porn addiciton). However, being a victim of the porn industry myself, its basically the only blog explaining what the real problem is (no joke). They offer rebooting as a healing process and basically its the only solution in the world. Porn has ruined my brain but rebooting in a society like today? thats impossible beside if u sleep for a few months lol. damnit.Anyone with an opinion?

Honestly I think the site is super legit. I don't care who backs it (and I've heard that it's backed by religious nuts or agenda-pushers or whatever). The fact is that they use real science that is logical and it doesn't seem to me they are pushing an agenda. They don't say "quit porn forever, it is terrible and will mess you up" or anything like that. They are realistic about it and say too much relying on porn for erections is a bad thing and then they explain why. After watching the series they have, I realized I needed to stop watching porn and have since made great improvements in ED and am much more confident. So, in my opinion it is legit and I don't care who backs them because they use real facts and science.

I've visited the site on numerous occasions and it seems legit to me. It's interesting too how they come to a conclusion with their 6 part video series. You should watch it. It does make sense.

Stay off porn too. It's unhealthy. If you can balance your intake of porn then i guess it's ok.

I can't vouch 100% for the people or science behind the site, but I never saw anything on there that raised my alert flags. The message I believe is a solid one, and I can see no reason to ignore it. If porn has a detrimental effect on you, then you should certainly try to break the spiral. It won't be easy, no, but the rewards are very much worth it.

          Believe it!

          PORN IS POISON!

So is alcohol, so enjoy in moderation.
PE is a lot like sex. First you have to find your technique, rotate your routine, and then plan on it taking a while. Then you will find satisfaction.

I don't know. When you have people who have jacked off to porn 3+ times a day, every day for decades, what's easier for them? Jacking off without visual aids or not jacking off at all? Leaving it alone for a while can also help with resensitization, as a lot of these people will have deathgripped their junk into senselessness. I don't have a strong opinion on nofap, but even if it is a religious thing, then that's not the worst that has ever come from religion.

I don't beliave porn is a poison but I agree on moderation.

Porn is time consuming when you can do much more important things like PE.

Things that will actually benefit you in long run= bigger and thicker dick

It's legit. To put it in overly simplistic terms, the guys who runs the site is basically on a awareness campaign to stop with excess dopamine, which leads to too little dopamine. (which begins an addictive vicious cycle of you trying to get a huge dopamine fix)

His wife basically says the same thing except from a completely different angle. To have better sex, avoid orgasm because it will put you into one of those downward spirals of dopamine craving. I've recently read her stuff and whether or not she is right she raises some very important points that seem to require further looking into. I wish she would make distinctions between orgasm and ejaculation though. Probably the biggest knock on her. From reading her stuff she's definitely does not come off as religious in any traditional monotheistic sense. (not saying she's an atheist either, I don't know). She advocates Karezza ( Lovers' Ultimate Sex Hack: Karezza | Psychology Today ). Has her own Karezza website. I can't even find a link to his wife's site, even though he does practice it!

So no, it's science and no secret agenda for bringing back religious morals into the United States. (as if that's wrong, lol)

                    Wtf avoid orgasm !!
She comes off to me as a psuedo science nut case. Lots of high sounding waffle masquerading as science.
Karezza I never heard of till recently . Really how much time should I waste on this sort of nonsense.
By all means avoid porn, but this no orgasm stuff wtf.
By the way I don't think she realises ejaculation and orgasm are not the same thing.

haha, blasphemy, right? Trying to get us all to die from prostate cancer. But yeah, pretty crazy ideas indeed. But it has made me curious, actually having a nursing wife with her hormones out of balance is enough to get me to be curious about anything that might help!

Note to self: "If I can get her Oxycontin levels high, then that will more than compensate for a lack of hormonal drive!"

I can see that porn causes some guys issues and may cause some guys to masurbate excessively . To then draw all sorts of other conclusions with no legit studies is not science.

Hmmmm, how would you define "poison"?

I would define poison something that kills you. So if porn was "relationship poison" than it would kill a relationship. I can tell you first hand that is exactly what it did to me and my relationship. For 10 years it poisoned my marriage. Near the end, my wife and I didn't even have sex anymore. One reason was because jerkin to porn made my dick so soft I couldn't even fuck my hot wife even if I wanted to. The only reason I'm not divorced is because my wife is ridiculously loyal and strong. Plus I quit porn cold turkey. My life without porn? Wonderful. My wife is happy. My dick works. Everything is better.

There you have it. Porn = Poison.

Who knew there were so "many" guys? No, seriously, are you saying many men can look at porn and not have an issue? Or do you mean there are many men that don't look at porn, so porn is not an issue? I just want understand your point.
