    You can continue longer stretches but lighten the tension. The penis will "relax" into the stretch rather than be forced. Heat helps this process.

    I'm all about heat. HOT rice sock for 10-15 minutes before starting and continued rice sock contact to my penis throughout the stretches (where possible). Lately, I've started a similar cool down with 10 minutes of really warm heat. Feels great! Hope it's working!

    Lazy 8 how much have you gained in total since you started because I joined in April and have 0.75" length and cannot seem to get to that 1" mark

    Bumped this old thread!!

    Hi guys

    Been PEing just over a month.(23rd Dec)

    Do you guys agree with this threads theory that you can get good length results by "stretching gently but for long periods of time?" Or when stretching do you believe for best length results you should pull pretty hard (without pain) until you lose your grip?

    Some guys have reported large gains through manual stretches held for brief periods (30-120 sec), some have reported huge gains through hanging for an hour to several hours per day, and some have gained using extenders and ADSs which maintain lesser tension for 6+ hours per day.

    Some have tried to combine all approaches, for example starting with some manual stretches to exhaust the elastic recoil, then doing a few sets of hanging to try to induce some plastic deformation, and then applying either a "traction wrap", extender, or ADS to maintain the tissues in the stretched state for a prolonged period of time.

    I don't think there is any answer as to what works "best" particularly in a given individual.

    Seems to me though after completing almost 5 months now with little gains (maybe 1/4 nbpel , .2 inch EG) that when stretching my unit becomes completely malleable with the exception of the ligament cord which is ultimately the limiting factor lengthwise. So at least to me it feels that that is what needs to be more elastic at the end of the day at least for length.
    By the way what do we need the ligaments for anyway?
    What if one were to surgically cut them? I am sure you could get a hard on only it would probably point down.On the other hand you could really do a good stretch there.

    @ sotorp - What is the ligament cord you are referring? I've read about this internal structure over at TP and I haven't been able to find a real way to stretch/lengthen it. I think I have it too. In fact I think most guys have it and its what truly determines length.

    Well I have been doing my stretches about hard as I can. But they are not too hard where my galns turn purple or cold. Been doing this ever since my PE routine. Now I'm gaining more EG than EL. I think it is because I was pulling maybe too hard even though there were no side effects.

    For now on I'm going to use less force and see what happens from there. Hopefully this helps with more EL gains. I can't wait to do my PE routine. I was reading this more it makes sense now I was pulling hard not gaining. Now I need to do less pull maybe I will gain more in EL.
