I can not stress "Sleep & Resting" enough! I'm really intrigued about taking supplements that boost testosterone production naturally. I guess if you stop taking it, it will really be a problem. I'm a bit doubtful

Guys, I've been reading about how to increase T and here are some points I came across in addition to the already great advice already posted on this thread. Lot of these seem against the popular beliefs but there are some solid studies done to get these results:
1. 2 studies were done in which a group of men ate higher fat diet (40-50% calories from fat) as opposed to a group of men with low fat diet. The higher fat diet produced much more T. I can't remember the exact percentage but it was significant (30%+).
2. The fats must be saturated and monounsaturated. Polyunsaturated fats do nothing to increase the T levels. Also, you should consume some cholestrol since cholestrol is a precursor to Testosterone. The ideal fats are fish, nuts, Olive Oil, Peanout Butter etc.
3. ZMA is great for T and can be taken without any issue. The other supplements Trib, Tongkat Ali etc. must be used in cycles i.e. 8 week long cycles since the body can develop a dependence on them. Also, these supplement should not be used by anyone under the age of 25.
4. Protein should be consumed in limited amounts i.e. no more than 20% of your calories should come from protein. But on the other hand, more protein helps release GH and IGF-1. So, you really have to be between 20-30% so you can get the benefit of both.
5. Eating meat increases T levels much more than vegetarian protein sources. Eating lots of fiber actually decreases T levels.
6. Weight lifting increases T levels, but the weight must be moderate i.e. 80-85% 1RM. Doing 10 reps with 85% 1RM produce better results than doing 5 reps with higher weights.
7. 1 minute rest between sets produces more T than 3 min rest.
Beware though, its also said that having more T can make you aggressive and less intelligent. So, the old joke that "when God created me, He gave me two options, either to have a great memory or a really big dick. Now I can't remember what I chose" might come true for some of you!As of : 12/13/2009

Do squats! Even at my age (43), I get a huge testosterone surge after doing two or three sets. I'm horny the rest of the day and sometimes even the next.

You beat me to it. There have been studies on this, and they found that the squat and the dead lift are head and shoulders above all other weightlifting exercises for resulting testosterone production. It was also noted that lower reps, around 5-6 had the most pronounced effect.
Obviously you need to lift a correspondingly higher percentage of your 1-rep max when you lower the rep count. My understanding is that for 5 reps you should start out with 85% of your 1-rep max, and do 3 sets, going to failure on set 3.
The other thing about squats and dead lifts is that they both recruit a wide range of some of the bodies larger muscle groups, along with many minor muscles for stabilisation. What this means is maximum muscle mass gains for the time spent, which will have the effect of raising your base metabolic rate and thereby increasing the number of beers you can drink without getting fatter. Ejaculation only works temporarily, I feel. When men ejaculate they ought to look younger, because that means it's time to mate (he is being stimulated by beautiful things around him), and their eyes get brighter they got a certain musk about them, and other signals. But I feel it's more of a body saying "woo, now's an excellent time to invest in the semen making business, lot a hot wombs out there, lets make the body look hot too", but eventually your body wears out and runs out of resources. I have a theory that it has to do with oxidative balance of the body. Eventually you get too many free radicals and get heart disease early or some other diseases faster than someone that was more conservative. I've known plenty of frequent masturbators that look like 90 when they are 60. And in any competent esoteric school, org, or lineage on energy work, semen retention is by majority agreed to make people much healthier. Many people have healed illnesses and increased sexual stamina by stopping semen leakage.
