    First, off I do not know myself why masturbation could hinder gains. What I experience is lowered EQ and FQ (flaccid quality). The reasons for this elude me. I have some laughable guesses such as prostate enlargement, hormone levels, blood flow, etc. but I don't know.

    What's more annoying is there are mixed feelings in the PE community about this. Some swear that it doesn't hinder gains and others say avoid it as best you can.

    But why would it hinder gains? Is it due to loss of zinc, or proteins? Or maybe lack of post-masturbation erections?

    I have found that after masturbating, for a few days I never seem as plump. But if I acquire significant erections throughout the day then my EQ and FQ seem higher on average. Assuming this has anything to do with it, when we masturbate, maybe throughout the night our nocturnal erections aren't as efficient or numerous to "recover" from PE. This along with loss of Zinc and proteins may lead to a slower recovery from PE. This is merely a hypothesis, but I think we could all benefit if we figured out a therapeutic way to compensate for masturbating.

    This also may not be independent from the idea of edging or ballooning that some people swear by.

    I find that I get better erection quality and better stretched flaccid lengths and just all around better response on all levels if I do not masturbate before I practice p.e. You would think it would not interfere with my flaccid length stretches, but it does seem to make a difference.

    I think zinc may counter balance this delima i should be taking it more often myself. You lose zinc every time you ejaculate.

    I take a Zinc supplement. I just don't want to take too much. It is one of the supplements that you can definitely overdose on.

    Yeah I take a zinc supplement too, but high levels of zinc increase chances of all-cause mortality. Not fun. As for the iron grip, I know that is all too true.

    How wonderful that PE makes one hornier and yet we must refrain from indulging those impulses!
