  • L-Citrulline

Hey guys I'm giving L-Citrulline a try. I'll let you all know the results. I bought mine off of Amazon.
    Product Description

Cardiovascular Health- 100% Pure Powder- Promotes Nitric Oxide Production- Supports Vascular Blood Flow- Vegetarian Product Citrulline is a non-essential amino acid that is an important intermediate in the urea cycle, functioning along with Arginine and Ornithine to rid the body of ammonia, a byproduct of protein metabolism. Because Citrulline is a precursor of Arginine, it provides a readily available source material for Arginine production, which in turn, can be used for the production of Nitric Oxide (NO). NO plays a fundamental role in vascular function and blood flow. Citrulline therefore, not only supports detoxification pathways, but also supports NO production and a healthy cardiovascular system.

    I'll be taking 15g a day.

Yesterday I took 10g and so far I noticed a minor difference in that I had morning wood which I normally do not. May or may not be related. I'll update this occasionally.

Here is my week one update.

Short version - this shit WORKS but be wary of the dose!

          Long version -

I have suffered a bit from lack of EQ from time to time. PE has helped a huge amount specifically kegels more than anything IMO since I admit for a lot of my PE time I have been inconsistant in my workouts. Most of my gains from length I believe are more a result of increased EQ rather than actual gains. I have tried a variety of suppliments and the two things that have worked best in the past was "erection tea" and the Size Pro pills I have been taking for the last 5 months (Part of trial). Now I add L-Citruline to that list.

Erection tea and the SP Pills work about the same for EQ assistance. Combined they are quite potent. L-Citruline + the Size Pro pills are even better. Given enough time I will be able to compare without Size Pro pills.

          Dose -

I got a reccomendation and started with 15g a day. TOO MUCH! Yea - I was fucking pumped up like crazy. My second day of supplimentation I worked out at the gym. I becamee so pumped up ... I was looking swoll .. I was like ... cool man. That night it was basically just like being on viagra. The next two days I suffered from diarrhea. Not horrible diarrhea but bad enough that I immediately lowered my dose to 9g a day. At this level I get a little pumped at the gym but not much. More importantly my EQ has been very strong all week. My bowel movements have been a little loose on workout days which I can partially attribute to me pumping up my calories and consuming 1/2 gallon of whole milk (Do this on workout days only) but obviously the Arginine levels are still a little higher than might be ideal for long term health.

          EQ and PE assistance-

EQ it is not quite like viagra but close enough where I am definately continuing for a while. It has really helped my PE workouts because now I can effortlessly control the EQ of my dick via a few kegels/reverse kegels I can pump it up quite nice. Sex has been actually a little worse. Totally my fault but I've been a little to impressed with the size of my member and have been a little less focused on how the Mrs was taking it. She has been too sore for sex for the last two days due to my overzealous pounding with a hard object. Oops.

I'll update as time goes on.

I apologize if I sound too much like an infomercial, but the results are for me quite stellar.

If anyone knows the best place to buy cheap let me know ... best I can find is 4 oz of powder on Amazon.

I just wanted to add my testimonial about L-Citrulline. It's amazing! I used to take it like 30 mins before a PE session on an empty stomach and it didn't do a whole lot. I changed it to 3 hours before, also on an empty stomach. WOW! What a difference! Amazing PE sessions consistently. I don't even take very much - just 750mgs. I use the NOW brand supplement which says the normal dose is 1.5g (double). No side effects to my knowledge. Definitely recommended!

I think saiyan22 wrote some about this particular amino acid in one of his threads in thunders place. He credited it to giving him great erection quality as well as stamina to handle multiple women in a day. He also started out at 15 grams a day.

If I am not mistaken, Citruline is a byproduct of Arginine once it is catalyzed by the body.
Start 08/15/15 (measurements using bathmate measuring device)
                BPEL: 5.75"

Converts into arginine** ; ideally it should be supplemented with* Arginine as the body predicates it's distribution and thus it's uptake is determined by w/e tissues are deemed a highest priority...Citrulline has a higher role within the liver; aiding in ridding ammonia more than Arginine...for example.
Arginine is delivered more so to the spleen, heart, thyroid and endocrine tissues.

Why in such a big amounts?

                    Is L-Citrulline better than L-Arginine?

I can only find Citruline Malate does it differ in any way?

Currently taking 6 grams in total a day of L-Arginine , 3 grams in the morning and 3 grams prior to bed.

Citrulline supplementation actually increases the arginine blood plasma levels for a longer period than just straight arginine supplementation.

Straight arginine supplemtation causes a faster but more brief spike in blood plasma arginine levels. Another odd fact is that if you take too much arginine, you can cause a reduced absorption rate, where this does not hold true for citrulline.

Citrulline malate is the most common form - and it's all pretty much the same thing....Citrulline seems to absorb better for some people.... and thus produce quicker increases in E.Q than Arginine..but using both makes more sense in terms of maintaining optimal blood levels of both aminos...also , Arginine increases growth hormone if taken at night with Lysine.

L-Lysine and L-Arginine may promote growth hormone release - Nutrient Journal

I'm currently taking 5grams of L-arginine would taking that with 15grams of L-Citrulline be too much?

Whoa, everyone here seems to be taking a lot! 15g ... wtf?!! For me the "pump" during PE or weights is noticeable at 0.75g. I once took 2g in a day leading up to a marathon sex session that night and ended up with bloodshot eyes afterwards evidently from bursting a few capillaries. If you feel you need a lot, my guess is that there are more fundamental aspects of your health that you should try and fix up first.
                            Feb 2012: 6.2 x 4.8 (BPEL x MEG)

Yeah,.. most people don't/shouldn't need that much. I have a feeling a lot of these guys don't get to the gym much or have other issues that are yet UnTold.
